Third ACORN video emerges, showing NY staff encouraging prostitution

acorn video

Like the previous videos shot in ACORN offices in Baltimore and Washington, DC, the new video released today by young undercover investigators Hannah Jiles and James O'Keefe shows ACORN employees in New York, willing and eager to use taxpayer money to fund brothels full of underage girls.

From the start, Andrew Breitbart's new website BigGovernment.com has showcased the filmmakers' exposes like that one.

Today the site's editor, Mike Flynn, also posted a copy of "an internal quasi-employee manual" from ACORN, which he says is provided to all ACORN staffers.

Flynn writes:

The whole thing is worth a read. I draw your attention to just one sentence (ACORN emphasizes it with italics):

"ACORN’s lifeblood is conflicts with targets outside the organization."

Think about that. ACORN’s lifeblood isn’t empowering disadvantaged communities nor lifting people out of poverty. It isn’t concerned about increasing economic growth to improve the lives of its members. It’s lifeblood is conflict. Conflict with targets. It actually thinks of the world outside itself as targets.

It explains a lot.

Indeed. Of course, now-President Barack Obama has well-documented ties to ACORN.

As Mona Charen reported:

ACORN attracted Barack Obama in his youthful community organizing days. Madeline Talbott [a Chicago activist who led the aforementioned ACORN effort to storm the Chicago City Council in July 1997] hired him to train her staff -- the very people who would later descend on Chicago's banks as CRA shakedown artists. [Obama] later funneled money to [ACORN] through the Woods Fund, on whose board he sat, and through the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, ditto. Obama was not just sympathetic -- he was an ACORN fellow traveler.

It remains to be seen whether or not President Obama will eventually feel obliged to distance himself from ACORN, as he's been obliged to do with the likes of Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones and Bill Ayers.

Why isn't the media or anyone besides Glenn Beck and Fox talking about this...? (That is a rhetorical question)

Acorn & Glen Beck sound like two peas in a pod; they both live off conflict.

What an uninformed and ignorant statement.

Go to google maps. type in 1062 Elysian fields Ave New Orleans.
Go to street view and there it is. ACORN LOCAL 100 SEIU.
The last Federal funding went to that particular address in
FY 2006. Since 1993 this office received $6,259,000.
In 1993 and 1994 alone it received $820,000.

google maps. 846 N Broad St, Philadelphia Pennsylvania 19130
See that storefront? Since 1995 that storefront received $16,420,000.
That storefront received $1,368,000 a year since 1995.

google 411 Bellamah Ave NW Albuquerque 87102
This office of ACORN received $349,253 in 4 years.

I count at least 12 separate address and 24 different ACORN entities that received $53.6 MILLION.

What happened to all that money? Time for an audit!

Leahy and Sanders..OMG...fire them both. Sad state of affairs for Vermont. By voting NOT to cut off funding for ACORN they are basically saying they approve of prostitution, underage prostitution, illegal immigration, tax evasion...the list goes on and on. One word, DESPICABLE..said with a little more authority than when Daffy Duck said it...though maybe his version is appropo. Leahy is in St. Albans Saturday...hmmmmm.

Acorn is as corrupt as the Party that put it in place! Voting Democratic is like being addicted to crack - you feel good for the moment, then it ruins your life. Just look to Philadelphia - 60 years under Democratic rule - year after year another politican off to jail. Stupid voters.

The President of the United States is not responsible for every negative thing that happens in this country. What if all white people are blamed for something one white person does. I certainly would not like that. Above all, he is the President of these United States and not only black people voted for him. We need to stop spreading hate.

I agree Joan. Our ancestors enslaved his ancestors. We have committed some ungodly acts. A lot of us HAD to have voted him into office as we are the majority. The focus should be on healing our nation. The media focuses on hate and race. This brings all the "crazies" out of the woodwork. If Bush had been judged and watched, perhaps we wouldn't be in so much debt and involved in so many wars.
