At home and abroad, people are hailing the election of Barack Obama as an indication that millions of "stupid" Americans turned enlighted, educated and liberal overnight.
Well, they're liberal, that's for sure.
A new video called How Obama Got Elected, based on a Zogby poll, indicates just how ignorant the average Obama voter really is.
The poll surveyed over 500 self-professed Obama voters and has an [margin of error] of 4.4%, with 55% having a college degree and over 90% having a high-school diploma.
It asked 12 multiple-choice questions; only 2.4% got at least 11 correct. Only .5% got all them correct.
* 57.4 could NOT correctly say which party controls Congress
* 81.8 could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism
* 82.6 could NOT correctly say that Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot
Those of us who listen to talk radio know this already; we spent the last six months enduring phone calls from irate Obama supporters who were barely literate, and couldn't answer a single question about Obama's policies and voting record. Obama was black, and he wasn't Bush -- that's all that mattered to these fools.
People like this really should not be allowed to vote.

The best video on the stupidity of Obama voters was the Howard Stern skit that was making the rounds on youtube. One of Stern's panel went up to Harlem and asked 3 Obama voters how they felt about Obama's pro-life stance, his position on Iraq and his choosing Sarah Palin as his VP. Of course those were McCains policies and choices but all 3 agreed on Obama's choices. INCREDIBLE!!
The election of Obama only proves how far along this country is in GOD'S great plan. Wen we have thousands upon thousands of "Christians" voting for a man who promotes, not only abortion but the horrible partial-birth abortion He voted against a bill that protects babies which are born alive from said abortion, also. This proves to us, 'true Christians' the state of our nation Now, these people cannot say that they were unaware of Obamas plans for abortion enhancement. It was widely advertized. It's hardly petty to point out the mind bending ignorance of the people who voted for Obama. What would be equally interesting is a similar poll of people who voted for McCain.

The funny thing is it makes no difference what ethnic group you come from. The average Torontonian or Canadian knows almost nothing about our political system. Hell if your like most Albertans, you don't figure out your not part of the US till high school.
I expect its no different down in the US for anybody knowing their politics. North Americans are belly gazers, no denying that. If it doesn’t happen here ,or where we are somewhere else, for all practicality it does not exist. Folks have enough problems keeping food on the table or raising kids. Most have no time for pondering a lot of hot gas.
Most persons just don’t care about candidates. Most probably think there all crooks anyway. Hence the low vote turn out. They are moved by Sentiment in this age of Emotion. Media bites or lies are the new slogans. A story line (Narrative) instead of a platform of ideas. A messiah instead of a leader.
Perhaps if we had real civics courses people could be inoculated against falsity.

What's worse in Canada is that mentally retarded people vote, People in Jail vote, drug addicts on the streets can vote. All you have to do is get them to the poll.
Sometimes I wonder what's the point of educating yourself when some air-head cancels your vote on the premise that he or she will get their grubby hands on other people's money usually for voting for the socialist candidate.
We really need some stricter voting rules. Maybe a brief test before rather than after an election to qualify for informed voting would be a good start.
What you see is what you get. Those people in the video are ignorant of any facts or issues in regards to Obama, their messiah. I'm hoping that the lawsuits that have been filed against Obama, to force him to reveal his birth certificate and unseal his college records, come to fruition. Hopefully, the suit brought by Alan Keyes will be the one to knock Obama's lying arrogant backside right off of his high horse. Obama's story and books about his life are just perpetual lies. This man needs to be exposed BEFORE January 20th. If not, expect to see this great nation completely destroyed. The video shows that Obama voters are stupid, but it doesn't show that Republican voters are smart. It does make a case for having some other basis for qualifying voters than age.
Annie: I agree with your post, with the exception of the praising of JFK. Kennedy without a doubt was the most overrated president in U.S. history. As a matter of fact, people worshipped JFK just like Obama due to brainwashing by the MSM. He was in office barely 2 years, got us started in Vietnam, not to mention "the bay of pigs" fiasco. JFK like Obama was and is worshipped to this day by a bunch of MSM brainwashed lemmings. Perhaps to a lesser degree he was a overhyped facade created by the MSM just like Obama. To be blunt if he were not assassinated I doubt he would have ever garnered much acclaim at all.

These videos are so incredibly easy to make. Just go on Youtube and in the search engine type “stupid Americans” or "dumb Americans" and you’ll find literally thousands of videos where Americans are interviewed on their political knowledge and all of them sound retarded.
What’s happening? It’s biased. Let’s say that 200 people are interviewed, they’ll find 50 of the dimmest bulbs and then only show them. This is common knowledge to those people who have a clue.
I could easily do that with Republican voters and get the same results.
