Presidential election pits givers vs. takers

This presidential election pits the givers vs. the takers.

Or, to be even blunter: the parasites vs. the patriots.

Obama voters overwhelmingly fall into the former category. They beg Obama to look after their families -- in their dying declarations, no less. They truly believe that once Obama is elected, they won’t have to worry about paying those pesky bills anymore. Maybe if Obama wins, they’ll be able to afford “snacks” again. All these people want “an end to all the worry and the chaos of trying to make ends meet.”

Funny: throughout human history, that was a pretty basic description of something called “everyday life.” Our forefathers knew all too well that the only lasting peace they’d ever know was awaiting them in their graves – and they got there earlier than we do today, and suffered more, and somehow accomplished more, too. (Of course, in those days, poor people were truly poor – and thin, unlike today’s “poor”, who rival the robber barons of yesteryear  in terms of sheer girth.)

Obama promises to “help” all these people, even though he hasn’t been much help to his illegal alien aunt living in Boston public housing, or his brother who lives in a Kenyan hut. With all his personal wealth, Obama doesn’t give much to charity, either, except for tens of thousands of dollars in donations to his delusional racist “mentor”, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Why should Obama provide for his own family? After all, he believes that “the government’s job.” Which is code for: your job. You, who thought you already had a job.

You, the taxpayer patriot.

Because parasites can only thrive by sucking the life from their unwilling hosts. In the case of the American body politic, the part of the host is played by the patriot. As George Orwell said,

“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”

Those “rough men” are the patriots. The men who sacrifice their lives to save others -- who often can’t be bothered to save themselves.

America’s patriots should have rebelled long ago – against their role as hosts to blood sucking parasites.

But they do not, because their sense of duty compels them to keep helping those who don’t deserve their help, at home and abroad. Being kind hearted, patriots believe the parasites' lie that they are helpless victims, when in fact they are just the opposite: takers rather than givers, with considerable power to guilt-trip decent people into "helping" them.

(We are told to take some kind of weird consolation in the notion that many voters are lying to pollsters. I for one don't find it particularly encouraging that thousands of freeborn citizens are afraid of a stranger's disembodied voice at the other end of a phone line, due to decades of victocratic blackmail. Perhaps this election will turn on these timid folks; if it does, I'll take it. But it doesn't speak well of our future than even patriots are afraid of the weasel word "racist" to utter the truth in the privacy and safety of their very own homes.)

So: through this combination of entrenched, entitled, victocrat parasites on one hand, and selfless, duty-driven patriots on the other, America will eventually implode.

The only hope for the future of America lies in the hands of those patriots who finally say: no more.

You will have no more of my money, my time, or my blood as long as it is wasted and spilled in the dubious cause of maintaining a host for parasites.

Obama cleverly portrays himself as the Messianic victim-savior, but who, really, has suffered and sacrificed for his country? One writer who says he "has more in common with Obama" personally, writes nevertheless:

"John McCain is white, the son and grandson of admirals, married to a wealthy heiress – and yet he has experienced degrees of suffering, despair, and defeat that not one in a million of us can imagine. Barack Obama wears a black skin and carries an exotic name. In the United States, people of darker color have faced oppression and discrimination for centuries. But in Barack Obama's own life, he has known nothing but an easy and welcoming path to success since he was 18 years old. Privileged John McCain has known more absolute degradation than any man ever to contest the presidency. Obama was born in adversity, but he has smoothly risen to a place where he is most comfortable with those for whom things are most easy."

Do not betray the untold millions who died to make America the greatest nation on earth and the last, best hope for mankind. Imagine standing face to face with George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, never mind the men who died on the beaches of Normandy. Rehearse, here and now, your explanation to them of how you’ll vote this Tuesday.

A parasite votes based upon “how it makes them feel” or because of peer pressure or skin color or what they think they can get out of it or on account of some shallow, twisted sense of “symbolism.”

A patriot wants what’s best for his country. Meaning: what will strengthen the country rather than weaken it; for what is right rather than what is popular; for future greatness rather than immediate, personal gain.

An Obama victory will be a victory for the takers over the givers, for the parasites over the patriots.

Which are you? And what kind of America do you wish to leave behind?

    Dear Miss Shaidle:

I am a giver and have been my whole life and I couldn't possibly be for Mr. Obama more than I am. Your premises could not be more flawed. Where and how did you come up with these views. You must be living on another planet.

Most people who read "The Communist Manifesto" probably have no idea that it was written by a couple of young men who had never worked a day in their lives, and who nevertheless spoke boldly in the name of "the workers". Similar offspring of inherited wealth(Ayers,Clinton,Obama,Kennedy etc.) have repeatedly provided the leadership of radical movements, with similar pretenses of speaking for "the people".

It is time for the givers to stop giving and demand our rights!! This kind of crap has been going on for far to long! Yeah Mr Obamao it is not called charity when you use someone else's money. We have leeches who have made a lifestyle out of welfare for generation after generation. I think we need to start showing some "tough love" and demand these parasites produce or leave the country. If these parasites want the security of not having to take care of themselves, maybe they should lease out a cell in our prison system, atleast there they will get their three hots and a cot.

This election is between the racists and the patriots.

This is best exemplified by Shaidle herself:

She has a blog at which she writes that Jamaicans are "filthy", that Native Indians are "parasites", Arabs are "violent retards"...and, well, you get the idea!

No wonder she's against Obama and you don't need a slide rule to figure out why.

And since Conservative Examiner publishes Shaidle's excretions we can assume the Conservative Examiner is a racist site

And as such an example of those who oppose Obama for the reason of race.

Obama trounced McCain at every debate; McCain has run a disgraceful, dishonourable, erratic campaign which has been a prolonged insult to the American people. His reaction to the financial crisis was an embarrassment.

By comparison, Obama has been cool, collected and...Presidential.

Still, some like Shaidle - who calls Pakistanis "belligerent illiterate foreigners" - and the publishers of Conservative Examiner who apparently share this sentiment - will support McCain because of the colour of his skin.

Like I said: the patriots versus the racists.

Actually rsux, I believe she is separating the givers from the takers, and that perpetual takers should not enjoy the same respect givers do, and should not be encouraged through higher gov't taxes and misplaced sympathies, to remain takers for life.

Do you deny the USA is becoming a nation of self-interested and less mature adults? A nation of those who ask not what they can do for their country, but ask what their country can do for them.

Are you denying this is Obama's primary campaign message. Are you saying because he is black, one is a racist for pointing out the message. Are you saying a racist is a conservative making a good argument liberal won't agree with?

    Good job Kathy.

You earned 4 gold stars on this one Ms. Shaidle. Good compellation of sources.

Maybe its naive but I always thought America was a land of citizen controlled legislators formed under a Republic. Run by the people for the people with a freeborn, not aristocratic President. Not Divine Kings or Messiahs.

Especially this drooling Obama worship. It more monarchal than I have ever seen in the Canada's except under PET. I mean how many people in crowds does the Queen get? Not as many as a parade these day’s. To watch these people humiliate themselves by this type of idol worship makes me ashamed to be human almost. There expectations are beyond reason. But in the age of Emotion, reason dies for expediency.

Since when did our leaders take on the properties of Divinity? Not leaving this Country out of it as well. The Trudeau worship in Canada was just, as if not more so, deranged which has lead to a decline of Democracy here if not a Liberal Fascist State controlled by PC language fake courts. With emotion as the rule of values.
Forty years latter where just trying to recover. People are not even allowed to defend themselves. We may hurt the wicked person.

I just cannot except that America would throw the Revolution away for a mere promise of a bowl of fetid stew called socialist Utopia. Please America! Keep your birth right of Citizen government, with the liberty & freedoms you have imparted to many Nations by example. Don’t become beholden to a government that produces nothing but takes, than gives pennies back to make you a kept people.

rsux is the kind of financial coward that Obama preys upon. The kind that sees his neighbour's labour and wallet as his own.

In these crazy Obama days, a cry of "racism' is code for "I want YOU to support ME.

rsux is a drain on our system.

What we need to do with people like rsux is make them live in downtown Detroit, New Orleans, or any other similar American city ruined by LIBERAL SOCIALIST POLICIES. Better yet deport them to Communist Cuba, China, South Korea etc. where they can live out their innermost fantasies.

Great article. The one redeeming feature of this ridiculous campaign is to see the self-important media losing the tattered remnants of their credibility. Not that he will, but a President McCain would be well justified in boycotting them, and leaving them to feed off Fox News scraps.

Except that 9/10 states that take the most and give the least are Republican, while 8/10 states that give the most and take the least vote Democrat.

But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of an otherwise good tirade.

You can tell what a liar Kathy Shaidle is just by clicking on the link she uses to support that statement. The very link shows that Trinity contributions never accounted for anywhere near half the contributions made in any one year. That's what they call the "big lie."

While I do not support Obama for president, the fault for this election outcome lies squarely at the foot of the Republican party which has governed stupidly, self-servingly, and arrogantly in the past decade, laying the groundwork for an inexperienced cypher of a man to take the Presidency.

    Who is more to blame?

It is obvious you believe the lies smears and slurs your fellow conservatives have been spreading. No need to worry though, there is no wealth to redistribute. Republicans and their deregulation have seen to it that the cupboard will be quite bare when the next administration takes over.
