In spite of (or perhaps because of) all the racist, sexist attacks on its author, the book Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies by Michelle Malkin remains #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for the second week, and is already in its third printing.
It would appear to be part of a trend, as conservative books are enjoying a surge in popularity.
As noted on Malkin's own site HotAir.com, the titles currently taking up spots #3, #4 and #5 on the list are:
- In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect, by conservative journalist Ron Kessler
- Catastrophe, by Dick Morris and Eileen McGann
- Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin
And Bill O'Reilly's memoir A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity is holding steady at #7.
Why no liberal titles on the nation's most prestigious list of bestselling books? I always thought liberals were supposed to be the intellectual ones.

Great weekend for collecting "conservative books" thousands and thousands of these books are on the streets of NYC, in dumpsters, in boxes scattered near and around bookstores where the tourists pick them up by the sackful. I'm sure these are reported as being sold.
It truly is unfortunate that thinking people who the right calls liberals turn to the comics to get news and other stuff the so called liberal papers and tv stations won't touch
I would love to find this stash of new books being thrown away....let me guess - you believe this is a right wing conspiracy? I like to call it a right wing resurgence - we are a center right country - hijacked by the liberal left.....we need the center right running the country...and we are closer....the purse strings are about to be locked down....and all the nonsense will be defunded....
