Biden: 'Who do you trust?' More health care propaganda from the White House

Today the White House Blog posted a video hosted by Vice President Joe Biden titled ‘Who Do You Trust?’  From the White House Blog:

“As one of the people in the Office of Public Engagement who work every day with citizens, groups, and organizations on health insurance reform, I’m constantly amazed at the overwhelming show of support from every corner and every constituency you can think of. When I say the list goes on and on, I mean it literally goes on and on, and is made up of some of the most trusted groups in America.

And nobody has been more important, more of a pleasure to work with, or more trusted for that matter than America’s doctors and nurses. We invited the heads of two groups representing the people who know our heath care system best to take part in this special video with the Vice President, to tell us all why they think reform is so important:”

Biden starts out the presentation with his first lie:  “Do you trust the defenders of the status quo?”  This is one of the biggest lies that the White House has promulgated throughout the entire health care debate.  No one in the United States of America wants the ‘status quo’.  Even insurance companies agree that reforms are necessary.  Biden then presents one physician and one nurse who agree with health care reform.  What is interesting is that neither of the women in the video talk about the public option.  They are specifically talking out against insurance companies.  The nurse goes so far as to maintain that she’s seen a lot of people who have had to sell their homes or cars because they cannot pay for health procedures.  The number of people going bankrupt in this country because of health care costs is a small percentage of the total and there are many other factors that aide in their decision.

Investor’s Business Daily also did a poll of physicians across the country and discovered the following results:

 
What Biden neglects to mention is that there are thousands of doctors and nurses who are against the bills that are in the House and Senate as shown in the graph above.  What he also neglects to discuss are the outrageous taxes and penalties that are in both the House and Senate bills.  He also claims that it will ‘be fully paid for”, which is another untruth because the Congressional Budget Office admittedly cannot do a complete or accurate analysis  ‘into the future’ and no government program in the history of the United States has ever cost what politicians have claimed it would cost. 

Many people in the country voted for the Obama/Biden ticket because they truly believed in the campy ‘Hope and Change’ mantra that was touted throughout the election, what they have gotten is anything but.  The White House Blog is nothing more than a propaganda outlet filled with half-truths, lies and severely lacks in factual information.  They created this blog in order to keep Americans informed yet they are not informing anyone.  They could easily post facts in a way that ‘regular’ Americans could understand and post both sides of the issue – that would be the bi-partisan Administration that Obama promised wouldn’t it?  The title of Biden’s video ‘Who do you Trust?’ is ironic because in case they haven’t noticed the numbers, the Federal Government  is not considered trustworthy by the majority of Americans and they are angry.  In other words Mr. Biden, Americans do not trust you.
