Clinton pledges $100 billion to the cult of climate change

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Copenhagen Denmark today in advance of President Barack Obama to show U.S. Support of the Copenhagen 2009 Climate Change Summit.  Clinton pledged $100 billion in aid by 2020 to assist developing countries in adhering to any new regulations that come from the conference. But that pledge, she said, is tied to other things, particularly a commitment by all major emitters, including China, to be "transparent" about how much they're emitting. "This agreement has interlocking pieces," she said, "all of which must go together." State Department officials have likened the U.S. Demands for climate change accountability to verification requirements that have been the hallmark of past nuclear arms reduction treaties and trade deals.  When President Obama arrives tomorrow morning he will pledge an operational agreement, but it is highly doubtful that the Chinese will abide by any agreement that would require independent inspectors.

With world leaders gathering in hopes of forging a deal to reduce the emissions blamed for increasing global temperatures, U.N. General Secretary, Ban Ki-Moon,  told reporters that "Nature does not negotiate with us. We have a chance -- a real chance, here and now -- to change the course of our history," he said. 'But both industrialized and developing countries, can and must do more." In the same room today as Secretary Clinton and U.N. Secretary Ban Ki-Moon spoke, the Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, received resounding applause when he spoke that "capitalism is the cause of global warming and there needs to be a socialist revolution to correct it."

This is a multi-billion dollar industry that the socialists in the United Nations are pushing.  Al Gore and other venture capitalists from around the world are looking to make billions selling carbon offsets to industrialists and developing countries. Unfortunately, our nation is bankrupt, and our leaders continue to spend and pledge money that we do not have. We have a congress that is drunk with power and excess, $787 billion for 3.5 million shovel ready jobs, unemployment still remains at 10 percent, and the national debt ceiling was just raised by Congress to spend more money.  Ladies and gentlemen when will this end?  It will end when the value of the dollar collapses. On a lighter note four inches of snow fell on the Danish capital today, the first time in 14 years.

Thanks for the comment Jesse. I really believe this is all intentional. This is all about one world government, and Barack Obama is running to be appointed its president. If the
Democratic/Socialist party can bankrupt this country, it will destroy the dollar, and we will be forced to utilize a different currency. It will be a world wide common currency similar to the Euro, and the sovereignty of the United States will finally be usurped.
