On Thursday, September 3 at the Brookings Institution in Washington, Vice President Joe Biden said the government's 787 billion dollar stimulus plan "is in fact working."
Biden also said, "The recovery act has played a significant role in changing the trajectory of our economy, and changing the conversation in this country. Instead of talking about the beginning of a depression, we are talking about the end of a recession."
End of a recession?
He must have missed the announcement from the USDA today that those in this country on food stamps has grown to over 35 million, or 1 in 9 Americans, setting an all-time new record.
Joe Biden, the same guy who on July 16 said, "We've got to spend money to keep from going bankrupt."
Hey, but that's just Joe, right?
