President Obama's Green Jobs Czar Van Jones, calls republicans A-holes!

The newly appointed Green Jobs Czar apparently not only believes that the US coal industry will be put out of business, but now it seems that he doesn’t care too much for about 55 million Americans.

Fox news reports that Green Jobs Czar,  Van Jones was quoted telling a group that the reason Republicans are stonewalling the president is because they're "assholes," and was recorded on video

Fox reports that he told his audience this in February while giving a lecture on energy in Berkly California.  Fox said that the incident occurred, “after a woman in the audience asked him why President Obama and congressional Democrats were having trouble moving legislation even though Republicans, with a smaller majority, didn't have as much trouble earlier in the Bush administration.”

Jones response was, "well, the answer to that is… they're assholes," The comment brought raucous  laughter from the crowd, to which Jones followed with, "that's a technical, political science term."

During a “Powershift 2009” speech, Jones also commented that clean coal is fictitious, insinuating the end of the American coal industry, "All that clean coal stuff, now, I’m gonna tell ya right now…we could have clean coal, I’m for clean coal, but I tell ya what… if we’re  gonna have clean coal, let’s have a couple of other things, Instead of clean coal,  we could have unicorns pull our cars for us, equally fictitious, equally fantastic, equally ludicrous… we could have the tooth fairy bring us our energy at night, equally ludicrous, there is no such thing as unicorns, there is no such thing as the tooth fairy and there is no such thing as clean coal, so let’s be clear about that.”  As clean coal is the only way the coal industry will survive regulatory requirements in Cap and Trade, is the administration going to put the coal industry out of business?

While MoveOn.org claims in response to Mr. Jones’ many speaking snafus, that the Green Czar’s statements occurred many years ago as a result of youthful exuberance, the fact of the matter is that the statement above was recorded on March 11th, 2009 and the video of the “A-hole” comment  was on Febraruy 11th, 2009.

These comments represent only a fraction of questionable statements and associations of the Green Jobs Czar, and are only a sampling of a common thread with many of the Obama administration’s Czar appointees.
