Governor Bobby Jindal young republican Audra Shay
It seems Governor Bobby Jindal once again in his race to achieve all his child hood dreams of wealth and prosperity has
once again been caught moving a little to far to the right .Bobby Jindal supported new Young Republican leader Audra Shay who worked on his campaigns when he
ran for Governor of Louisiana.Well guess what Audra Shay thinks about blacks.She agrees with some guy who said blacks are mad coons.
I think Bobby Jindal needs to slow down and stay off of TV and out of the
spotlight for awhile before people realize he is not a true leader.He is a kid
who did well in school and that is not all that important in politics.Now most
most are smart enough to take this with a grain of salt given the recent demise of the Republican party and the aftermath of Sarah Palin resigning which I
think is the main reason Audra Shay was elected.White women want a larger say in the Republican party which historically kept them in the back of the bus.
To Sarah Palin and Shay supporters most importantly, it stands for a genuine movement: a dwindling white non urban America that is aflame with grievances and awash in self-pity as the country hurtles into the 21st century led by The Obama Nation and leaves it behind. Palin gives this movement a major party brand and political legitimacy.
Meanwhile politicians like Bobby Jindal are just cruising along "whistling dixie" playing both sides of the fence because
East Indians have little or no history in political America.Pretty soon though Bobby you may have to Pay The Piper
because minorities and the working class in Louisiana have been stepped on and used long enough by "Dixie-crats" like Mary Landrieu and her clan
and they know the game,Bobby Jindal rode in on a silver cloud and I think he is very vulnerable right now to win re election.Whites and blacks are starting to see through his little games and if party leaders can reach an agreement then Bobby Jindals ride is over and he will have to run for national office because he will be done in Louisiana,the problem is after the speech he gave labeled the Official Republican response in which Republicans threw him up there as a sacrificial lamb, I do not think the Republican party has much use for him either.
America is not going to elect a boy as President.I do not care how good the grades or how good the english grammar.
Settle down Bobby,settle down.

I see Ms. Shay took her Facebook page down. You can run but not hide Ms. Shay. Always remember that if you don't remember anything else!
Yes ,good point , Audra Shay took it down after
it went VIRAL but not before,she's sleazy
I think it is important to note the timing of the posts there were involved, moments apart, and that Shay says she was replying to the first one and as soon as she learned there was as second post she took it all down. Hearing the other side of the story helps I think.
Thanks Joe that is plausible
Linda I really do not know what to say to that ,In my time here it seams that when readers complain about the grammar they are either afraid to deal with the issue or they are spammes from Nola.com
The other candidate in the race was also a woman, so the claim the YRs voted for her just to fill some dearth of women in the GOP is likely untrue.
Also, Bobby Jindal endorsed Ms. Shay long before Facebook Wall-gate happened. I heard both candidates in person early this year and Shay mentioned his endorsement. I don't know if he has since pulled his endorsement, but this opinion piece suggests he's endorsing her after the comment was made.
I think, as I did after meeting the two women, Shay and her slate have a better vision for the YRs. However, this whole mess shows, at best, she is a careless for not noticing the second comment. What concerns me most is all the stereotypes coming out of this...Republicans are just a bunch of white racists. Certainly not good for debunking that accusation.
Christine I think Bobby should slow down a little check people out a little better before the endorse,maybe he does not have that skill necessary which is not good.
ms small minded shay, i don't blame u i blame your parents for not teaching u better. this is what happen when u are a fox supporter.
Yes ,she certainly does seem to lack in characte,looks like the career may be in trouble,maybe not though.
It's concerning to me that people who are elected officials, who should know better, decided to continue to support Audra, even after she made these racist statements.
People that not only supported her but continued to run on Audra Shay's Ticket such as:
Audra Shay's Treasurer Candidate - Kelly Arnold, County Clerk - Sedgwick County, Kansas
Audra Shay's Auditor Candidate - Dennis Cook, President, Consolidated District 230 Board of Education - Illinois (who is thinking of running for Statewide Office in Illinois)
I think it is unacceptable to have these elected officials continue to get elected after their support of such behavior from Mrs. Shay. They should resign along with Mrs. Shay.
Enough. The nonsense going around about Audra Shay is simply unfair. If John Avlon actually DID his homework, he would have discovered the so-called "racist" Shay:
Hosted the first-ever African American Outreach event for Republicans in New Orleans.
Worked as Congressional District Director for Bobby Jindal's campaign when he fought to become the first minority to serve as Governor of Louisiana since Reconstruction;
Her YR Club in New Orleans endorsed and campaigned for Ray Nagin for Mayor against the first serious white candidate for Mayor of New Orleans in decades;
Her YR Club in New Orleans supported numerous other African American candidates for city and state-wide offices;
The Louisiana delegation she lead as LYRF Chair to the 2007 Young Republican National Convention had the most minority delegates of any YR delegation in the nation;
Her 2007 YRNC delegation included Harold Williams, the first African American to head the Baton Rouge Republican Party;
Sigh, Clifford, not even commenting on the highly erroneous content of your article, but on the tone with which you present the information and all around attitude put forth in the article, i'm sure there's a nice job for you in the liberal propaganda office. It is impossible to take you seriously, liberal or conservative, when your obvious negative bias toward all that is conservative even as the "conservative examiner" is disheartening as an american not only to see that this is who is "qualified" to comment on politics, but that this is who is influencing the voters through false facts and blatant smear campaigns. I ask you next time to take a more ojective tone and fact check, then, maybe your "journalism" will hold more stock with your readers
Speaking of, though, i'd love to hear what you have to say on Sotomayor's comments along these same lines. Her racist comment is being declared as "taken out of context" and she has been placed on the US Supreme Court.
