Arnie Fielkow says no dice to Mayor Nagin's proposed Chevron building move

Arnie Fiielkow in a bold move of political posturing in effect may have shut 

the door on Mayor Ray Nagin's proposed move of city hall to the Chevron   building,or did he? Jackie Clarkson a realestate agent likes the deal ,count                                                                                                               

Midura and Stacy Head against it and you have three

left.Lewis,Carter,and Morrell who have sided with the mayor in the past.That

would make it 4-3 in favor of the move.Does Arnie Fielkow know the leaning of

his council members in advance ,if he does then he is just grand standing to

position himself as the

front runner in the pursuit for the white vote.I receive an e mail today from Jeff

Good  who is maintaining Arnie Fielkows Facebook page. It looks like Arnie

is going to try and use a voter base concentrated in the uptown Tulane University

area which has become quite a force since katrina.If Arnie Fielkow shows his hand to soon

and alienates black voters someone may sneak in the back door on him in a run off by getting  a late endorsement from

Mayor Ray Nagin.
