A new report issued by Obama's own experts has confirmed that everything Democrats told us about their economy-killing, debt-exploding, illegal health care takeover was wrong.
Just as conservatives had warned, ObamaCare will actually increase costs while forcing millions of seniors off Medicare and severely limiting access to care.
The findings:
--Roughly 14 million people will lose their employer coverage by 2019 as companies terminate employee coverage (the fines are cheaper) and force workers onto Medicaid.
What was that about being able to keep your existing coverage?
--The cost "reductions" will not be "fully achievable" because millions will be forced onto Medicare, even as it is being completely gutted.
But, weren't conservatives just "fear-mongering?"
--Crushing new fees and taxes on medical device makers will (in addition to killing innovation) "be passed through to health consumers" via higher prices and premiums on drugs and medical devices.
Welcome to "the change we need."
--Funding for the national high-risk pool will be exhausted by 2012, resulting in substantial premium increases to sustain the program, which will "limit further participation."
So much for "bending down the cost curve."
--Forcing millions of people onto Medicaid when most doctors already won't accept it will be "difficult" for the program to endure.
But, isn't ObamaCare supposed to improve access?
--As companies pass on the costs of $87 billion in penalties between 2014-2019 to consumers, everything will become more expensive and we will lose even more jobs.
But, didn't Democrats repeatedly tell us this would be good for the economy?
--It will drive15% of medical care providers who take Medicare Part A out of business.
Again, how will reducing care (this doesn't even include the 45% of doctors who said they would consider leaving the profession if this insanity passed) while adding millions of patients improve access?
--Severe Medicare cuts will drive roughly 50% of seniors out of the wildly popular Medicare Advantage program...again, contrary to everything we were told.
What do you know? Tea Partiers really are better at reading Obama's legislation than the news media, or even Obama himself.

Eye opening, and well done Robert. Reposting so even more can give this information its due.

Robert,
Thank you. Excellent synopsis of what is wrong the Obamacare.
Sometimes it's disappointing to know, and see in writing by someone intelligent as yourself, that one's fears about an issue will come to pass one day.
America is still strong, and we'll fight to defeat Obama's policies.
By the way, I'm a former 'hippy,' now an independent, hard working California career woman, grand-mother, mother, sister, aunt, wife, friend to many people, and proud to be American.
Ha! How is Friday's report different than the one they issued back in January? Some of the numbers have changed a little due to the reconciliation bill, but not that much. My goodness, Robert, try to keep up.
And how about using quotes when you copy/paste info from another source? If you're going to parrot Fox News' talking points, at least have the integrity not to plagiarize.
Tom, STUFF IT. If you can't add anything of interest, and you can't dispute the facts presented, what is the friggen point of your repeated verbal BS? Bet you're one of those who thrive on being a jackass.
Tom,
There's a difference between quoting and paraphrasing. One requires citations/links and quotation marks, the other requires only mentioning or linking to the source.
Take a first-year writing course some time.
I don't know where you went to school, but this is just good old-fashioned plagiarism by standards I was raised by:
Fox: "About 14 million people would lose their employer coverage by 2019 as smaller employers terminate coverage and workers who currently have employer coverage become enrolled in Medicaid"
Robert: "Roughly 14 million people will lose their employer coverage by 2019 as companies terminate employee coverage (the fines are cheaper) and force workers onto Medicaid."
Brilliant!
Tom,
As usual, covering your eyes and repeating things that blatantly defy the facts won't make your BS off-topic smears any less untrue.
Linking to a source and then paraphrasing it is standard practice. Get a clue.
Hilarious! Whatever what works you, Robert. Ha!
It is going to be a diaster, of epic proportions. You watch small businesses shed jobs, self employed people pay fines, and the IRS put liens on lives. What I fear worse is that we will watch the government cut military budgets, border security, and fail to protect us. This could actually be the tipping point in destroying the world's greatest civilization ever created - thanks alot Obama and the Obama-ramas!
Can ANYONE link to this report? Thought so.
Click the link. There IS no report. It's fear-mongering, it's making the Examiner money through ads, it's cheating you out of your time. Look into any of these absurd claims that conservatives make: death panels, hospice cancellation, it's all sourced to crazy bloggers who make the junk up and people just parrot them until it becomes "common knowledge", ie Groupthink, lies, and money-making lies at that.
So. Where are your death panels? How many people have been denied insurance coverage, how many people have /died/ because people like this author spread fear and delay the passing of essential legislation to help people get medical help? How many more people have to die? Will the Republican machine ever be satisfied? Death is not a concern of these people. It is only themselves and their support income they receive that guide their actions. The sheep-herders. The book-deal radio-deal TV-show-deal millionaires who are Just Like Regular Americans(tm). That is what Robert Moon enables, or perhaps even aspires to.
Hey Joe T: People die every day, but fewer will have QUALITY health care with this plan and MORE will die. Just ask those in Canada and England. It's not about our current health care program being so great(that definitely needs to be fixed, here...but to ADD care not to take it away and redistribute it). It's about making the good ole' USA a socialist country. THAT'S the problem with Obamacare and that is a very REAL fear. When the gov't controls your health care, how you get it, what kind you get and how often...that is socialism in the extreme. Do you think you will ever hear about "death panels"? Of course not, because by then they'll control the media too (ask Venezuela how that's worked for them). But believe it will happen. When the gov't has only so much $ and it's between an 18 yr old and an 80 yr. old...what do you think they'll do? The Americans for Tax Reform's site has a link to the report in an article dated 11/16/2009. So do some research and quit pontificating.
Obamacare will be a disaster. Any doubt of this should be dispelled by looking at other plans from around the world. Was there a report from Obama's own people? Not that I found in this article. As for the so called death panels, there are many examples of prominent Obama administration representatives discussing them on YouTube. Death panels are in the bill and are important to help contain costs. Open your eyes, look at the world around you and read what the Progressives are saying.

The 38- page report compiled by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service:
Type in "estimated financial effect of the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" to your search engine. The first listing in Google will take you to the report.
You'll see that the author of this article has accurately and concisely recapped the report. You should thank him.
Robert says:
Crushing new fees and taxes on medical device makers will (in addition to killing innovation) be passed through to health consumers via higher prices and premiums on drugs and medical devices. Welcome to the change we need.
The actual report says:
We anticipate that such fees would generally be passed through to health consumers in the form of higher drug and device prices and higher insurance premiums, with an associated increase of approximately $11 billion per year in overall national health expenditures beginning in 2011. Underlying the overall moderate effects of the PPACA on NHE would be various changes...we estimate that overall out-of-pocket spending would be almost unchanged by the PPACA (a net total decline of $6 billion in calendar years 2010-2019).
It's shame when someone quotes a source to make a point, but doesn't quote the entire source because it refutes their point.
I wish we had a phrase for that kind of thing. Oh wait, it's called a "scare tac
