National columnist and founder of the popular blog Atlas Shrugs, Pamela Geller, appeared on 'The View's' Joy Behar's new show on Monday to discuss Sarah Palin. As expected, the Behar take on Palin is, as usual, disrespectful and vitriolic.

It is interesting that Leftwing Hollywood types such as Behar will quickly harp on Palin's 'prompt-words' written on her hand while totally ignoring Barack Obama's constant reliance on the teleprompter, even when addressing elementary school children.
For going on 36 hours now, following Palin's address and question-and-answer session at the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, the leftwing media have gone on a feeding frenzy about Palin's palm-notes.
Less than 24 hours after declaring that Palin is now one of the most powerful voices in American politics, NBC News correspondent Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC ridiculed the former Alaska Governor for the palm-notes
Aside from the fact that it is highly unprofessional for a supposed unbiased news reporter to engage in such outright vitriol--in public--concerning a political figure, the Mitchell display is but a microcosm of the state of American journalism. Mitchell, Couric, Williams, Gibson, Sawyer, and other icons of what is now the 'state-run media' are all guilty of letting their personal feelings and opinions skew the manner in which they report hard news.
No better example of this can be found than the manner in which ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC have treated Sarah Palin.
Further, when someone like Pamela Geller goes on national television to defend Palin, here is a sampling of how the Leftwing responds:

Um, you do know that Obama was addressing the press when he was using the teleprompters at the elementary school?
You do realize that the definition of hypocrisy is, "the practice of claiming to have higher standards or beliefs than is the case?" Mrs. Palin's use of memory aid tools while at the same time making an issue of Mr. Obama's use of a memory aid tool is the very definition of hypocrisy.
Mrs. Palin would be better served by making the case about weaknesses of Mr. Obama's policies, rather than resorting to juvenile ad-hominem attacks.
It is funny that people who consider the teleprompter dependent Obama a rhetorical genius can twist themselves into a frenzy over Palin 's palms. These people seem to live in fear and hate. They don't even see their own intellectual and moral corruption.

I thought Pam didi a great job last night and she literally shut up Joy and her guest at the end. All their attacks were personal ofcourse and they wouldn't consider the facts. Sarah is not a politician and look at how they go after her. Why don't they just say what policy they disagree with?
jjw, evidently you do not understand the difference between a "memory aid tool" [sic] that consists of 6 words, and a "memory aid tool" that consists of EVERY WORD of entire speeches written by other people and loaded into a teleprompter and read, word by word, and when Dear Reader loses his place or the prompter stalls, he gets flummoxed and cannot ad lib.

On a different note... Ron Regan Jr. was embarrising to all of us who date back to the Regan days. We remember him & his sister well and the attitude they had torward their Father and his policies. Amazing attitude he had not to mention his whining has yet to go away from the 80's.
Now about the article in regards to Palin: If you fail to see the difference or you have never performed any public speaking than the attention this story should have mad was ZERO as it is a non-story. I am amazed at the fevor this media has, to go after someone because of FOUR words out of 45,786 words spoken in a speech not to mention the attack on those 4 words.

Oh, but I'm sure you already have and are very aware of the outright hate that is in abundance there. This is the group that celebrated, en mass, the death of Tony Snow, even going as far as to saying they were happy he got cancer. Pull your head out of your Kool-Aid induced drunken stupor, and increase your awareness.
It is amazing the degree of hatred the Obama-ites have for Sarah Palin. After all, in the end she is a failed Vice Presidential candidate who now occupies no elective or appointed political position. What in heavens name scares them so much? Look we all know that the "governing principles" of the Dem party consist of muscling through regulatory and taxpayer funded benefits for their favored constituencies: Wall Street (opensecrets.com), lawyers, educrats, environmentalists, unions and the unproductive in general. Well, obviously, you can't make a coherent and convincing pitch to the independent voter to increase already massive deficit spending which is producing no benefit to investment and jobs for recovery. So what's left? Name calling, I guess. Turn off TVs, desubscribe to newspapers, i.e. disconnect from the Dem support media machine and work in your spare time to remove the current set of politicians and to find new public spirited ones to clean up the mess.
