Only 35% now believe in global warming

AP Photo/Gurinder Osan

According to a new Rasmussen poll, only the Democrat base (35%) now thinks climate change is man-made, rather than a naturally-occurring, cyclical phenomenon. Those who disagree now make up nearly half of the electorate (47%).

This comes on the heels of multiple scandals involving the doctoring of evidence at the highest levels (as I noted here and here) and the utter decimation of this already bogus "consensus" of experts (as I noted here). Even leading Green Scare peddlers are now admitting that there are huge discrepancies in their own theory (as I noted here).

As I have said since the beginning, these alarmist frauds and their war on science will eventually be exposed as their absurd climate scaremongering digs them further and further into a hole.

On top of all you've mentioned, add a little (actually a LOT !) of snow and freezing weather in DC as well as as far South as Florida to make a person shake his head at fools like Al Gore and his ilk.

The war with the evil, global warming cockroaches has been won!!!

Now, let the drilling begin! A highly aggressive program of domestic energy development would turn this economy around 180 degrees, creating millions of jobs and causing this economy to hum.

But you can be certain that the Cockroach-in-Chief will have no part in restoring this nation's economy. Instead, he will pursue the passage of "Cap & Trade," a prolific job killer and yet another nail in the coffin of free trade.

Fortunately, a sufficient number of people in this country are finally awakening. The Cockroach-in-Chief's days are numbered. Even those of his own party are deserting him and many are just retiring to avoid he embarrassment of being involuntarily retired in November.

Meanwhile, swamp your representatives with phone calls and e-mails demanding a very aggressive crash program of domestic energy development.

We have it! Let's FORCE them to use it!

I don't believe in the Gloable warming. There is a presesson of the world that become tilt every 25,000 years. 25,000 years from now we will be back where we started from. The Sun has its moments. The carbon we are talking about are good the the trees and plants. The more they get the better they grow. Everything is a cycle. Beside man is making the world better with all the invention that are coming on line. We don't need the govt taking our hard earn funds and keep us down to where we can make life better.

0.00022% percent of CO2 that gets pumped into the atmosphere is from man, the rest is naturally occuring. If the Earth could cry 'Uncle', I don't think it would.

We all (except for al gore) know there is no such thing as global warming caused by man. It's cyclical. We must However,
educate some of our G.O.P. guys that there is no such thing.
For instance Denny Rehberg, Republican Congressman from Montana.
Please inform him of this fact.

Wow, what a group of erudite commenters. I'm sold. Two big snowstorms in the eastern United States? Proof enough. No such thing as climate change, got it. Now if you gentlemen could just tell me where you earned your science degrees, I'll be on my way.

As if having earned a Scientific Degree means a person has common sense. The statistical fact that man in all his glorious activities only produces a small infitesimal fraction of the co2 being emitted exposes the flawed logic in the AGP 'theory'. Additionaly, plants, for lack of a better way of putting it, breathe co2 and exhale o2. co2 is not the enemy, EPA be damned.

Still, the Obama administration is pushing to regulate CO2 relying on the fraudulent work of Jones at CRU and the corrupt politicians at the UN's IPCC. Congress must act quickly to stop this insanity. Fortunately, there are already bills in the House and Senate that would do this. Ohio and Pennsylvania representatives should strongly support this effort.

Global warming exposed as a fraud...and Ryan H.'s big "counterpoint?" The same as ALL liberal counterpoints: name-calling, attacks on the intelligence, and phony posturing.

You don't need a science degree (not that there aren't plenty of experts rejecting this idiocy too) to grasp that there is something invalid about focusing all our attention on man when he produces only a tiny minority of the C02.

Additionally, which is more stupid, liberals claiming that all evidence, no matter how contradictory (like the fact that we haven't been warming for decades now) as proof of global warming or thinking, adult human beings mocking them for it?
