Democrats are quickly rushing through a sweeping, nationwide union takeover that will force all police, firefighters and emergency workers to join unions and give money to Democrats or lose their jobs.
This tyrannical assault on workers and on states' rights, called, "The Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act," is being quietly attached to a war supplemental bill scheduled for a vote this week and it will needlessly shut down 26,000 critical volunteer firefighter departments.

The act would affect some states more than others. In North Carolina and Virginia, for example, collective bargaining is currently prohibited. Eighteen other states have limitations on bargaining. The legislation would likely force those governments to abandon merit-based promotions for public safety workers and shift instead to a collectively bargained seniority schedule, which unions prefer.
Putting seniority before performance, protecting incompetents from getting fired and astronomically increasing costs to taxpayers...all so that Democrats won't have to compete on a level playing field for campaign contributions.
This must be what Obama meant by "change we can believe in."
As I have noted here, here and here, these government unions (which shouldn't even exist) are senselessly driving city and state governments across America into total bankruptcy.

Hey Patriot (as if): I know another much more effective way to block the rays. It's a one-time treatment sometimes called cranial lead implants.
Two or three injections into the brainpan usually stops all prior irritants from bothering you further. If you are looking for someone to help you administer this treatment, I am volunteering.

Leading the conservative revolution
Last year I dug up some stuff on SEIU and posted it on our website Tea Party Cooperative....you can go to the SEIU website and likely still find it. There is a chart where you can find all contracts pending and completed across the nation in every state. Here in Tenn, the contracts with virtually all departments of our state and municipalities with SEIU were listed. It is ghastly. Particularly notable...Metro Housing Auth, EMS, Teachers, schools, things like that. Why don't you help me do research on Gates Foundation grants....that is grotesque. It will make blood shoot out of your eyes. Check Memphis, Tenn on that.

Most of these ads, articles and letters claim that the bill would create a “one-size-fit-all” federal labor relations law that takes away states rights, that it would be detrimental to national security, it will bankrupt state and local governments already struggling with budget crises, and finally, the most preposterous fabrication, that under this bill “union-bosses” would be running the local police and fire departments.
