From all indications it looks like the 9-11 mosque is going forward. Because of the politically correct madness of New York politicians and community boards, there is little to stop the mosque from being built.
Bloomberg and his minions would not stand against it. Maybe he’s afraid for his life which I can understand. But, he has to know that his decisions will effect New Yorkers and Americans all across this country with this acquiescence to this small step toward Muslim dominance.
Every politician that favors this construction should be duly noted and marked for defeat in the very next election and every election after that for any office any of them might run for. From Bloomberg and Weiner on down they all should be defeated. We don’t need politicians who are not going to represent the interests of the people and this issue clearly drew those lines.
All across this country Americans are fighting the idea of mosques being built in their areas because of fear of what that institution might bring with it. Since we know that much of the extremism that exists in the religion of Islam comes from the mosque, it is not unreasonable for Americans to want to exercise their rights in preventing their construction.
In the Los Angeles area, in Temecula citizens are fighting the idea of building a mosque in that town. You can read more about the other fights going on here.
But, the 9-11 mosque is different. There is more than just the fear of plotting and planning from potential enemies here. This is the site where it all began. This is our Pearl Harbor. It is a slap in the face of the victims. And the victims are all Americans.
Since their politicians do not seem to have their best interests in mind I would urge New Yorkers and others across the country to rise up with a grass roots movement to stop this construction. Do not allow them to take advantage of our tolerant nature. That is reserved for those that deserve it.
The thought that this mosque might be built with the same money that financed the downing of those buildings should sicken every American.
I applaud Pam Geller and others who stick up for this nation and realize what an insult it is to allow a mosque to be built two blocks from the ground zero point.
I heard Bill O’reilly say something interesting the other day. “That mosque will never get built because there is not a construction crew in New York that will work on that building.” That’s a good point. As a construction worker myself in Los Angeles for thirty years, O’reilly’s comment rings true. I can’t imagine construction workers who will join in the “fraidy cat” politics of current New York leaders and work on that building.
Unless the Muslims have invaded that industry also, I think O’reilly might be on to something here.
That Mosque should never be allowed to be built, not there, not on that site, not on the place where they are still finding remains of our people.
Resist.

I'm so proud of President Obama and Mayor Bloomberg for their unwavering support for religious freedom in America.
I have yet to understand why can't Muslims build a mosque in lower Manhattan if it happens to be near Ground Zero? Islam didn't attack America on 9/11, Al-Qaeda did. Muslims were killed too in those attacks, and Muslim firefighters rushed into the burning towers to save as many people as they could. So Muslims are the victims of 9/11 too, as a matter of fact the biggest number of casualties of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are Muslims. So stop this hypocritical opposition to this mosque.
It's offensive to suggest that Americans need to be “sensitive” to 9/11 victims when building a mosque. Muslim Americans should not be expected to endlessly apologize for a few crazies out of the billion or so worldwide. Equating the Muslim religion with terrorism is bigotry. Period.
BTW, our military is over there supposedly helping Muslims. It makes no sense to think Muslim AMERICANS are our enemy.
