On Sunday morning, December 7th, 1941 the Japanese attacked the United States Naval base at Pearl Harbor, with devastating results. On Monday, December 7th, 2009, the United States Navy, in a fit of political correctness run amok, will hold the arraignment of three Navy Seals in preparation for their court martials, which are to be held in January at Norfolk Naval Base.

The three Navy Seals are Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class who is charged with dereliction of duty, making a false official statement and assault, Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, who is charged with dereliction of duty, and making a false official statement, and Petty Officer Julio Huertas, who faces the same charges plus impediment of an investigation. All three men are professionals with spotless records.

The Seals captured one of the most wanted and arguably dangerous men in Iraq. Ahmed Hashim Abed, who was the mastermind of the murder, burning and mutilation of four Blackwater security guards in Fallujah in 2004. He also had the burned bodies hung from a bridge over the Euphrates River for public display.

Abed complained that McCabe had assaulted him and split his lip. The official charge is "punching" Abed in the middle. No rational being could consider this anything but a perversion of justice, when terrorists are given the same rights as Americans and Americans are charged for protecting the American people.

After the Fort Hood shootings by army Major Nidal Hasan, and the frantic attempts by the main stream press to politically correct that tragedy by trying to avoid mentioning Hasan's Muslim faith or the dreaded word "terrorist", the public has reached a "boiling point".

In what has turned into a cultural war over political correctness, many are putting their foot down and saying "enough is enough!".  The arraignment and court martial of McCabe, Keefe, and Huertas has the Internet ringing with outraged emails and planned tea parties and protests.

One is being led by Scott Taylor, a former Navy Seal and candidate for congress,  which is to be held on Monday, December 7th outside the gates of Norfolk Naval base, during the arraignment. At least 300 people are expected to attend to show their support for the Seals

. The left's worst nightmare is starting to take place. If they can't  tell everyone else how to speak, think, and act due to a general rebellion against political correctness and Americans start thinking like free men again, they are finished. This won't happen over night, but the battle is joined and the struggle started. To quote one of their own heroes, Chairman Mao, " The longest journey starts with the first step."

A similar situation is going on here, in Canada, with an orchestrated smear campaign against the Canadian Military by the Opposition Parties (Liberals, NDP, Bloc Quebecois), over the 'torture' of Taliban combattants turned over to Afghan authorities.

Once again, right wing whackos display their disdain for the rule of law. Regardless of the evil of the perp, it's ALWAYS illegal to punch him out.

ALWAYS! it's the LAW, morons. Regardless of one's personal hatred or grievance against a person in your custody, it's NEVER OK to punch them out.

Say you get pulled over by a cop who had a sister who was raped by a guy in a plaid shirt. You're wearing plaid. So the cop's in his rights to punch you out because you're wearing plaid? Of course not. Now say you were the guy who's suspected of raping the sister, and the cop spotted you at a routine traffic stop. He puts you in cuffs, then proceeds to punch you out. In this case it would be OK for him to punch you out, because he's really, really upset with you? Again, certainly not.

That is what is meant by rule of law. Regardless of what you think of the situation, you are bound to follow the law. The penalty for not following the law is generally clear. In this case, courts mart

BruceR, is this the same rule of law that the left has ignored when not enforcing immigration laws? It is funny as heck, listening to you left wing morons try to defend selective law enforcement. Go and suck a lemon.

Nice strawman. Perhaps you would like to point out where he 'defends selective law enforcement'. Thanks.

It is just like a pair of liberals to take the word of a terrorist over the word of a Navy Seal. Neither of you are fit to polish a Seal's boots. How is that for a straw man?

Bruce R: Words fail me to describe what I feel for you self righteous liberal hypocrites. This country is under attack by terrorists that want to cut your head off and you worry about a fist to the gut. I'd like to see how quickly you'd get behind a heroic Navy Seal if a terrorist was coming at you with sword in hand. Fortunately for you, they will protect your right to spew the garbage you do.

ex-convict, Robert B. Creamer, is a friend of White House. Let a felon have the blue print for future history. The media furor over the White House state dinner crashers ignores the convicted felon who was invited to attend with the approval of Obama's inner circle. The ex-convict, Robert B. Creamer, is a friend of White House adviser David Axelrod and the husband of Democratic Rep. Jan Schakowsky of Illinois. A major Democratic Party political strategist, he is the author of a 628-page book that describes how the Democrats can become the permanent majority party by passing a national health care bill and giving amnesty to illegal immigrants.
