According to Missourians for Health Care Freedom voters in the state are coming down to the wire in what may be the most important vote this election cycle.

MoHealthFreedom.org:

The President and Congress have given us a health care reform package that will force people into government-defined health plans and penalize them for paying for services with cash!

Missouri's Proposition C, on the August 3 primary ballot, will protect us from those government mandates by expressly stating that the government may not "penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful healthcare services."

Missouri will be the first state for eligible residents to vote to protect their constitutional freedoms and to reject this unprecedented intrusion into personal health decisions and privacy called Obamacare.

While there may be few candidates to support in the "R" column on the primary ballot in the western Jackson County area, there is a yes vote to be cast for Proposition C.

Thanks for this story, Stephanie! There are two Conservatives running for Congress in Eastern Missouri who are strong proponents of Prop C--Chuck Purgason and John Wayne Tucker. Both are up against "the Good Old Boys" Roy Blunt and Ed Martin, respectively.

Thanks Dave. Chuck Purgason has a lot of support here in KC. I just wish he'd stop saying Warshington
