During a speech at the National Tea Party Convention last week Sarah Palin had a few words written on her hand as an improvised outline. The words "energy," "tax cuts" and "lift American spirits" were visible in photos of the speech.

This unleashed a rash of attacks by leftist bloggers who resorted to their favorite goal-line play; insult the intelligence of a conservative. The situation was intensified by the fact that Palin took shots at Obama during her speech for his reliance on a teleprompter.

Robert Gibbs joined the fray on February 9th when he revealed a mockery of Palin while addressing reporters in the White House Briefing Room. Gibbs wrote the words "eggs, milk, bread, hope,” and “change" on his hand and made a show of referring to it in an obvious attack on Palin.

This move by the sloppy, blundering Robert Gibbs is disturbing for a number of reasons.

If this is what it took for ditzy Sarah to stop bashing Obama for using telempromters, then good for Gibbs. Sometimes you have to fight stupid with humor. She's such a hypocrite - excusing Rush Limbaugh for using "retard" is retarded itself, and her Obama taunts are so incoherent. I'm sure she won't use her telepalmter anymore.

You're an idiot. Ditzy Sarah? At least Sarah is human and only needs a few words on her hand to guide her through her speech which anybody in the right mind who must give a speech can understand. Look at that robot Obama who needs a teleprompter with pages of words. I'd say pages of words vs a few in the hand shows who's more intelligent. But that's just my opinion and I know how all you liberals disrespect any opinion that doesn't go along with your insane plans to have big government. Sarah Palin and Scott Brown are gonna let that Kenyan have it.

When a government takes over a people's economic life it becomes absolute, and when it has become absolute it destroys the arts, the minds, the liberties and the meaning of the people it governs.
