To claim that the Congress is being run by an ape-wild gang of ring-tailed baboons going on a pilfering and plundering spree would be a gross understatement. They flush taxpayer dollars down the toilet faster than Joe Biden can reel off a string of foot-in-mouth inaccuracies.
This is true with both the House and the Senate.
However, at least on the House side, the Democratic leadership is not only exhibiting the pillage habits of zoo animals but the ethics and fairness of the Chicago mob.
House Republicans are being prevented from sending a mailout to their constituents concerning Obama's plan for the government to take over healthcare.
The reason? The Democratic leadership, under the fine, stellar leadership of 'San Fran Nan,' House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who represents the San Francisco district in the People's Republik of Kalifornia, thinks that the mailout is 'inaccurate' because it dares criticize 'the Great One's' plan to rob Senior Adults of their quality of care in order to pay for 8 million Americans who don't have coverage.
According to Roll Call, the mailout contains this chart (.pdf file) which shows the massive amount of new government bureaucracy it will take in order to implement and manage the new healthcare system.
And this is precisely what Pelosi and the Democrats don't want you to know.
Did you note how, during his news conference Wednesday night, Barack Obama deftly avoided answering any specific questions about the true costs of the plan, in addition to masterfully ignoring questons about healthcare rationing while supposedly focusing on other portions of the questions?
The drastic, dangerous, and even murderous downside of Obamacare is being carefully hidden from the public.
Obama, Pelosi, and Senate majority leader Harry Reid know that if you find out the specific details of this Nazi-type experiment on the populace, not only will you demand that representatives reject it, but you will be after their heads for merely considering such an attack against citizens.
Thus, House Republicans are currently being forbidden by the House leadership from sharing with their constituents the details of the government takeover of healthcare. The case is under review by a special committee.
But the salient point here at this moment is the unconscionable actions of the House leadership under San Fran Nan.
One beings to wonder if the woman isn't losing her bearings entirely.
Just yesterday Pelosi gleefully went before the Washington Press Corp to announce that 'she had all the votes' necessary to pass Obama's government takeover of healthcare. Then, in less than 24 hours, she was announcing there would be no more debate or vote until after the summer recess when the creeping vermin of Capitol Hill come back in the Fall.
If she indeed had the votes as she stated, then why did she suddenly decide there would be no vote before the August recess, as Obama had adamantly demanded?
Of course we know these people have gotten quite a bit of heated criticism from the voters concerning this particular healthcare proposal. But why would Pelosi announce, deceitfully, I might add, that she 'had all the votes,' only to be humiliated one day later when it became clear she was lying?
And this is not the first time we have witnessed bizarre behavior from the House leadership.
Pelosi claimed the CIA lied to her and her colleagues about interrogation techniques. We discovered some days later she was fully briefed like everyone else. Then the House leadership decided it would impugn the reputation of Dick Cheney by claiming he had unlawfully instructed the CIA not to tell Congress about a secret program, which was not even implemented or funded. This was done for one simple reason--to provide a cover for Pelosi's damaged reputation resulting from her charge that the CIA had lied to her.
This, of course, begs the question, for someone who is seemingly so concerned about lying in government, why is Pelosi so quick to lie when it serves her own purposes?
Further, why do the American people continue to put up with these inept baboons who are running one of the 3 main branches of government?

That's a pretty interesting chart. One thing that really struck me about it is there's an "Office of Minority Health"!
Uhhh...isn't that discriminatory?
Yes, it is, Jim.
Nex ut Tyrannus!
Oink, oink.
The hogs are hungry folks. Let's get to feedin'em!
Tried to open the pdf file. Got a popup saying that the file is broken & could not be repaired. Obama healthCare in action.
As Ann Coulter (and many others) have often said, "If you want to win an arguement with a liberal, quote facts."
I figure that the delay over the summer break is so that the lib/Dems will have time enough to promise, coerce, arm-twist, etc, enough NO votes over to YES votes, thereby actually making sure the DeathCare vote fix is secure, no surprises.
Got something to say?
