For those of you who still think that Barack Obama is harmless, perhaps this earth-shattering news this morning will help change your mind.
ABC News has announced that it will turn its programming over to the White House. Anchor Charles Gibson will deliver evening news broadcasts directly from the White House blue room. The purpose? To rally public support for Obama's new program to dismantle American free enterprise in its healthcare sector. No opposing points of view will be allowed to air. Source: A Special Drudge Report.
Obama's Soviet-styled 'politburo,' made up of his top advisors and the Democratic leadership in Congress, is on a rampage against the public that has shown little interest in his latest proposal to drain millions from Medicare and Medicaid in order to fund government intrusion into healthcare, including a government-owned corporation that will compete directly with private insurers--a move that will eventually drive such insurers out of business, leaving the United States with a single-payer system modeled after the U.K. and Canada.
And the plan clearly rations healthcare for senior adults and the poor.
The fact that a major television network news organization would throw every single principle of journalistic integrity out the window in order to serve as a nightly 30-minute commercial for Obamacare is one of the most outrageous, inexcusable, and frankly, highly dangerous moves I have ever witnessed in all my years of observing politics.
We know that NBC and its parent company, General Electric, has been colluding with Obama from the very start of the 2008 campaign and continuing to this very day. General Electric's payoff for slanting news in favor of Obama is in the multi-billions it received in bailout money. The company now stands to gain handsomely from Obama's longterm plan to dismantle Big Oil and funnel money into companies such as GE that adhere to the environmentalist extremist agenda.
And now we can add ABC to the growing Pravda as it in effect turns its news division over the White House.
Not surprisingly, GOP leaders are outraged. According to Drudge, GOP Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a letter to ABC in protest:
Dear Mr. Westin:
As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with ABC's astonishing decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue on June 24, 2009. Next Wednesday, ABC News will air a primetime health care reform “town hall” at the White House with President Barack Obama. In addition, according to an ABC News report, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WORLD NEWS, NIGHTLINE and ABC’s web news “will all feature special programming on the president’s health care agenda.” This does not include the promotion, over the next 9 days, the president’s health care agenda will receive on ABC News programming.
Today, the Republican National Committee requested an opportunity to add our Party's views to those of the President's to ensure that all sides of the health care reform debate are presented. Our request was rejected. I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers.
In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime.

This is clearly not what America is about. A free and independent news media is no more. How can the major network news organizations maintain even a tiny bit of objectivity when they are so clearly and closely aligned with an American Administration? Where are the watchdogs? Where is the attempt to expose corruption? Where is the coverage of opposing views?
What we are witnessing, my dear readers, is a coup being gradually pulled off by the Obama gang of thugs that run the White House--a coup to dominate news, squelch dissent, and ram through an extremist ideology whether most Americans want it or not.
Obama was warned several times before that if he continues down this path there will be severe consequences from the ordinary citizens. This act moves us a giant leap forward toward the citizens taking to the streets.

Thank you for this sensible, outspoken piece. Obama indeed seems on a course of "no holds barred" when it comes to dealing with all those who do not blindly applaud and follow his directives. He seems to feel free to ignore law and certainly to ignore the Constitution. Since when is a President above the law and not answerable for his actions?
He is on a dangerous path for our freedom loving nation. Now is the time for Obama supporters to take a hard look at what is happening. It will take many years to undo the harmful results of this regime that has been in place for only five months! I shudder to think what more is in store over the remaining time of his term.
Surely Democrats in Congress must have serious misgivings about the actions of this President, but are blindly following. The voice of the people will show in all upcoming elections. I pray that it will not be too late.

For anyone in this Country to continue to believe that we are not at risk of having a "dictatorship" with this President---wake up now or give up the Constitution of the United States of America!!!!! This Congress, Senate and President should be IMPEACHED IMMEDIATELY by the American people!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone in this Nation should contact their Republican representatives in their States and tell them to get up and speak up and gather up the American people RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

If you get a chance to read "Catastrophe" by Dick Morris, you will see that everything he says is falling into place. What a scary and sick man Obama must be, I wonder how he would feel if it were he and his family having to go through what he has in store for the American people.
