Supreme Court Justice to Obama--'That's not true'

Although the words were uttered silently, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito's response to the open Obama attack on the high court, i.e. 'that's not true,' blasted forth like Gabriel's Trumpets across the planet.

Joe Wilson is the U.S. Congressman from South Carolina who spontaneously yelled out 'You Lie' to the President during his last address to Congress.  But Alito's response was non-disruptive and highly telling.

For the first time in U.S. history a sitting President has used the State-of-the-Union speech to slam the U.S. Supreme Court--one of the three branches of the federal government.  Even FDR in his rage over the Court's many decisions that declared his programs unconstitutional did not dare take a swipe at the Justices during a State-of-the-Union speech.

Given the historic nature of the Obama attack, one would think that the issue at hand is one of extreme national significance that represents the outrage of Congress and the citizens concerning a Court ruling.

Not in this case.

The issue is restoring the First Amendment right to free speech and free expression, which the Congress infringed by passing into law the ominous McCain-Feingold bill under the guise of 'campaign finance reform.'  The problem is that the law has not prevented dirty money from passing into the hands of candidates (Obama's sleazy campaign of 2008 is a perfect case in point) but banned organizations representing millions of citizens from placing political ads on TV and radio in the days leading up to an election.

While groups of ill repute such as ACORN, SEIU, Apollo, the Tides Foundation, George Soros' Marxist front groups and others continued to pump millions of dollars into Leftwing campaigns, groups such as the NRA were hamstrung from presenting issue-oriented ads on TV prior to the vote.

The Court decided that the law is unconstitutional for that reason--the suppression of free speech.  There are to be no 'anti-free speech zones' in the United States with regard to elections.  Free speech is the very key to a clean, fair election based on an informed electorate.

But this is what sticks in Obama's craw.  The Leftwing and 'progressives' don't want free speech for the fear that the public just may become informed about real issues pertaining to the vote.

As we are witnessing right before our very eyes, Obama himself was elected on the strength of hiding facts from the public.  When he uttered the words 'hope and change,' the electorate thought he meant change from George W. Bush, not discarding the Constitution and fundamentally changing America from top to bottom into a Marxist state.

And Obama continues to lie and hide facts.  Even the Associated Press, which has been very lenient with this President, did a fact-check showing multiple instances where Obama failed the truth test.

In addition to the analysis of the AP, it is clear that Obama engaged in some barefaced whopper-telling, the most glaring of which are the notion that he has 'created 2 million jobs' and that he has 'cut taxes.'  These statements are FALSE.  We have lost double the number of jobs Obama claims to have created, and tax credits are not the same thing as tax cuts...a typical trick of semantics this President is famous for using.

But the big stunner is that even the New York Times took Obama to task over his remarks, going as far as saying that Alito was right and Obama was wrong.

When a Leftwing President loses the Leftwing New York Times on any issue, we can rest assured that trouble is brewing in paradise.
