INTERPOL and the ICC--the anti-Semitic angle

Abundant information is available showing that the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) works closely in conjunction with the International Criminal Court (ICC) of the European Union.  Abundant information is also available showing that both have a history of anti-Semitism that continues to this very day.

The most recent example of this tendency toward political oppression of Jews is the attempt by INTERPOL and the ICC to place certain Israeli citizens, military officials, and politicians on the international most wanted list for supposed 'war crimes' in Gaza.

Of course, all of this was done at the bidding of terrorist states such as Iran, the Palestinian Authority, and others, although the Palestinians are responsible for sending rockets into Israel that maim, mutilate, and murder Israeli citizens.

Yet no attempt has been made to place extremists Muslims in the area on the international most wanted list.

The thing that most Americans do not know, however, is that this latest example of anti-Semitism in the ICC and its investigative arm INTERPOL is only the tip of the iceberg.  A look at the history of INTERPOL reveals an ominous past, particularly during the years of the Nazi regime in Germany.

Lee Johnson, writing in the SGP blog, says the following:

Garry Hamilton has this to say:

It is well to know who these people are, and where they’ve been. Though the expression “modern day SS” sounds like a hyperbolic metaphor, an examination of Interpol’s roots shows that it is, in fact, more literally true than that.

I was in Europe in 1973 when an expose was published, revealing that many, if not all, of the presidents of Interpol from the late 1930s or early ’40s until at least 1972 were Nazi Gestapo and SS officers. Reinhard (”The Hangman”), Heydrich (also head of Nazi SS Intelligence Service) and Gestapo chief Ernst Kaltenbrunner. By 1942 Interpol was consolidated with the Nazi Central Police, run by the Gestapo. As the Nazis invaded cities throughout Europe, police files from each were seized and evidently integrated into Interpol’s files. In 1972 the sitting Interpol President was Paul Dickopf, former Nazi SS officer (SS #337259).

The source on this? The Simon Wiesenthal Center. Simon Wiesenthal is pretty much the most famous of the post-war Nazi hunters, having impressively thorough files.

Interpol isn’t just any old bunch of thugs. They are rooted in one of the most effective and ruthless gang of thugs anywhere, ever.

Is this, then, the ultimate 'smoking gun' that forever will put to rest any doubt that INTERPOL is a dangerous organization that has no business being granted immunity from U.S. law?

The very fact that INTERPOL presently engages in rank anti-Semitism in its decisions concerning who to place on the international most wanted list should be enough.  But when one couples that with the history of the organization, a clear picture emerges of an ominous gang of thugs that pose a distinct danger to liberty.

And then, we have THIS explosive revelation concerning INTERPOL's failure to push for the arrest of international criminals based upon their ethnic and religious background...and their relationships with influential government officials:

Interpol had a case against the seventh richest man in the UK, who happens to be Iraqi. Nadhmi Auchi was to have been arrested. (The Guardian). But, because he had personal relationship with top UK government ministers (who just love the rich), he was left alone. Interpol obliged, too. So, who is Interpol really for, if rich men are let off free as birds because of their links to government and money? It can only be for those mortals lower down the social ladder – people like you and me. Talk of international crime agencies is just a farce, when money can buy off the world’s policeman!

The British police also did not arrest the man. We can only suggest that his contacts with government would turn over some rather nasty surprises for ministers! Blair himself knew what was going on, if he was not party to it all (which, of course, he denied, even though he ran his Cabinet like a Kaiser, commanding them what to think, do and say, and what colour socks they must wear). In Parliament they all denied any contact with Auchi. It was a direct lie, but no-one did anything about it, just as no-one will do anything about Obama handing over the USA to Interpol (and, by default, to the UN).

Therefore, all of the evidence brings us to one solitary conclusion--the Congress MUST act to nullify the executive order by Barack Obama granting immunity from U.S. law to INTERPOL.

Clearly Interpol was absorbed into the German fascist machine. Post WWII was straight out of The Third Man movie. Reinhardt Gehlen was on our side fighting the godless Commies for the better part of the next 25 years or so. Interpol was in the midst of all this. As the Soviets captured Berlin they also captured/stole the Interpol files. It is well known that during the post war years crimes on behalf of the Soviets seemed to have been executed by criminals selected and protected by Moscow. BGs on both sides.

In my earlier post, the ICC/Interpol connection is one that can be used for coercion. I've been thinkig of late if I was a gun manufacturer I would start to think of other lines of business. Even if the UN small arms treaty isn't signed by the USA, Interpol can very easily be used to arrest those who are committing crimes against humanity "wink wink". Most of the world leaders (not necessarily the common folk) wouldn't blink if some executives were made examples of.

Interpol doesn't act as the enforcement arm of anything. All they've done for the ICC is post a number of Red Notices- which are requests to arrest. The people they've requested are individuals who've been accused of directing attacks against civilian populations, murder, rape and the forced enlisting of children. I'm amazed you somehow try to attribute a nefarious motive to this. I'm also amazed you claim there's abundant information that there is still antisemiticism in Interpol- since the only source you cite for this is almost 40 years ago. You then go on to grossly misrepresent what the NY times says in your second source. The third source posts a remarkable number of lies- it says Interpol can now search your house (it can't), it claims Interpol dropped a case (Interpol doesn't have the power to bring cases let alone drop them) and compares Interpol "reaching out to you in times of crisis, rather than waiting" to ask for help to a doctor cutting off your leg without consent.

    Adam,

Nice try to twist what I said, but it didn't work. I said INVESTIGATIVE arm, not enforcement arm. And they certainly do work in tandem with the ICC as anyone with any means of investigation can discover.

Your statement concerning my third source is curious, given the fact that it is the one source that quotes directly from someone within INTERPOL who knows the history and who knew individuals who were at the top of the agency who had been Nazis. I challenge you here and now to provide proof that the statement by Garry Hamilton in Lee Johnson's article at SGP is false. Since you made the charge it is up to you to back up the assertion with solid irrefutable evidence.

Sorry for the misstatement, however I have quibble with calling it an "investigative arm" as well. This implies a closer relationship then it has with its other members, but that is not the case. Their relationship with ICC is the same that they have with all its members, they "assist all organizations, authorities and services whose mission is to prevent or combat international crime." Also, the extent of Interpol's "investigation" abilities is quite limited. They can't search or seize- they basically have to rely on publicly available information and information they are given by other organizations. Also, neither the US or Israel have signed up with the ICC, so we're wouldn't give info to Interpol regarding ICC investigations.

Also, I'm sorry for the apparent confusion, when I stated your third source it appears that its actually your fourth source- my only quibble with the third source is its claims regarding antisemitism are only supported by actions almost 40 years ago.

Adam, it really doesn't matter that the last time the head of INTERPOL was a Nazi was in the early 70s. From the late 30s through the early 70s they were dominated and headed by Nazis--not a good recommendation for an organization.

Even today, they take a decidedly anti-Israeli stance in their struggle against Palestinian terrorists. This, frankly, is unconscionable.

Adam J needs to examine the ICC. By looking at Interpol first you miss the key agent in the web. The following from the ICC website. Read the answers on their FAQ page.
    108 countries they operate in.
They CAN act on their own.
They can act in ANY country if the UN sec council refers them.
This is a great line "Finally, the Prosecutor can intervene only if the relevant national judicial authority is unable or unwilling to genuinely investigate and prosecute the alleged crimes." Does this sound like the Godfather or what? Prosecute or else the ICC will. Another quote:
"Without its own police and other agencies to rely upon, the Office must build networks of international cooperation. JCCD is responsible for ensuring necessary agreements and arrangements are in place to secure full cooperation of states and international organizations and maintaining dialogue with the OTP’s stakeholders, including civil society."
Interpol and the ICC formally bonded in 2004:
