The state law passed today, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...! Guess what..........We did it anyway. HB 1330
We recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from, unless they want to get a green card and/or become an American citizen. The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set back for the Kennedys and Ms Pelosi.

By the way, Obama does not like any of this.

Some people on here have seen fit tell others that this has been disproved by Snopes.com. If you look at the date I wrote this article, it was WAY before Snopes ever made a declaration about it. I reseached the Oklahoma State Legislature myself and confirmed each and every claim. I would not have published it if I couldn't have confirmed it. Snopes and Fact check are left leaning organizations, and therefore I don't consider them to be 100% accurate. I stand by my research. Any comments to the contrary will be deleted........"Al"

I am proud to say I am an OKIE by birth! I don't like the way our Federal Govt has gotten around to telling us what we can and can't say or do because it may offend others! If speaking GOD's name offends you, so be it! I believe my way and you believe your way!
As for illegals, either live by the laws of this country or go elsewhere. Stay and enjoy the freedoms, but don't take my freedoms away because it conflicts with you thoughts and beliefs!

I was pleased to see this type of community awareness on a state level. That OK has declared itself a soveriegn state makes me believe that there is hope for this country yet. I was born in France. I became an American citizen in 1963. I had to speak English before I could attend public school. My parents worked their entire lives and paid taxes here, legally and lawfully. I feel very strongly about deporting illegal aliens from this country because I have paid income taxes here for 35 years and into Social Security my whole life.
I am entitled to this when I am old enough to receive it. I erks the hell out of me that Mr. Obama is so free with my social security. If he is going to hand it out to anyone, he should mail me 35 years worth FIRST. Not give it to people who are here unlawfully!!!

This article was refreshing to say the least. Sent it to my sister-in-law and she was very thankful. Her comment: 'At last, some good news. I am so depressed over Obamanism and the way this country is self destructing.' At least the states are gaining some headway. With the exception of Calif., of course. Praise the Lord! Good to see TN where I live is on the list of those likely to follow suit in becoming a sovereign state. Hope that's tru! If they don't, I may have to move back to my native Texas. The federal government has WAY too much control over this country.
I am so proud of Okla. I live in Tx. and knew my neighbor to the north was proposing this, glad they followed thru. Iam an immigrant from Germany ( as for now resident ) and followed the rules that the US has for immigration ,i also pay my tax and ss as every other citizen in the US and yes ,as you can see i also speak the language ,i feel honored to be here ,anyhow i strongly believe all illegal immigrants need to be shipped back where they did come from or follow the rules ,no exception and no freaking amnesty for illegal ,thats like having a stranger coming into your house and take advantage of all you got while you pay for it ,also i strongly believe in the right to have firearms to protect myself and my family .

I live in NY and believe me I do think outside the box and I accept and tolerate all kinds of people without judgement, but the thing is: where do you draw the line between tolerance and right and wrong? Its fine to tolerate differences, but it gets to a point where differences become so great that you need to have some kind of sense of right and wrong and thats where Christianity comes in and sort of saves the day, by helping people come back to the bottom line of deciphering what is right and what is wrong and protecting our God given rights.
Okie's be proud that your legislators realize that they work for YOU, the voters and taxpayers. I only wish these bozos that we elected here in OH would do the same.
