The newest plaintiffs on the scene for lawsuits about Obama’s birth certificate are a group of military personnel, some active, some reservists, and some retired. They all share the same concern, they don’t think that our sitting President has the requirements set forth in the Constitution to be our President.
Many cases have already been submitted concerning the same issues, but all so far have either been dismissed without comment, or dismissed on the grounds of “no standing.” So far Barack Obama has spent close to $800,000 through 3 different law firms to deny access to his birth certificate, and not the Certificate of Live Birth, he showed on his website prior to the election.
In a failed case recently the law firm representing him threatened civil action if they produced the certificate and it proved their point. In another action a sitting Judge had made a similar to the effect of “awarding” damages (lawyers fees) to the loser of the case.
In the present case involving the soldiers, one active soldier who made the declaration he didn’t think Obama had the prerequisites to be the Commander in Chief, was ordered through his service agreement to not talk to the press in any way shape or form.
A Senator Mel Martinez R (RINO)-FL has made a statement as of late implying that because Americans voted him in he should be legally our President, claiming that Americans have vetted the candidates twice already, once in the primary, and then again in the general election. He then flip-flopped on the issue by stating, “federal government has the responsibility to make certain that the Constitution of the United States is not compromised. We must fight to uphold our Constitution through our courts and political processes."
In yet another stupid statement from a Senator, Jon Kyl R-AZ in an email to a constituent has stated that the question of Barack Obama’s eligibility has been settled by Snopes.com and Fact Check.com. Both organizations are left leaning, and it is ridiculous to assume that somehow they have information that the average citizen doesn’t. His office was unavailable for comment on this horrendous statement.
Unfortunately the Constitution does not provide for an enforcement mechanism, and Congress is making no effort to sign one into law. One has to wonder what Obama has to hide, and why he’d spend almost $800,000 to avoid producing a $10 birth certificate, and why with all the present law suits the US Supreme Court has so far refused to hear even one. The biggest question is why wouldn’t the Congress institute a law to avoid this in the future, unless they already know the answer to this question.

In the recently dismissed "Hollister v. Soetoro," the judge said the case "would deserve mention in one of those books that seek to prove that the law is foolish or that America has too many lawyers with not enough to do."
He referred to Philip Berg as an <i>agent provocateur</i> and said that "it appears that the complaint in this case may have been presented for an improper purpose such as to harass."
The Associated Press in its article said that the birth certificate matter is "an argument popular on the Internet and taken seriously practically nowhere else."
Everybody has their opinion on this issue, but nobody has any proof, because all historical documents relating to Obama have been hidden. Is he embarrassed about something? Oh, and MaineSkeptic, you can rest assured that, even though the MSM has shoveled this underground and people like you have ridiculed any American with brains enough to know something fishy is going on with this eligibility issue, this will not be forgotten nor dismissed until the truth has been made transparent for all Americans.
It's frustrating that Associated Press and similar sources mischaracterize the issues, lie about details, and attempt to ridicule the questioners. It's frustrating that "opposition" politicians resort to either stupidity or duplicity or both.
But that just underscores the fragility of their position. They wouldn't resort to such weak tactics otherwise.
Obama refuses to take any of the simple steps to prove he is "a natural-born citizen", eligible for the office. That's the smoking gun. It will not go away on its own.
Why would $800,000 and one million dollars to defend these lawsuits? Why not just release the certificate and get it over with if he has nothing to hide?

To complain on the grounds of saying that this is nothing more then sour grapes is an insult to my intelligence. We have a Constitutional requirement to become president of this country. You didn't address once the validity of the requirement, because you can't.

Keep in mind the birth certificate is not the only thing Obama is not showing. He has not shown his college records, his health records, what is he hiding?? McCain caught hell from the left and he had to prove that he is indeed an American citizen. McCain showed thousands of pages of his health records while Obama showed a "short statement" from his doctor going by Dr. Gupta on CNN. But Obama's medical records could not have been reviewed unlike McCain's. Again, what is Obama hiding??

A good friend of mine is challenging Obama in DC. His case was thrown out and the judge is now threatening him with sanctions and legal fees to Obama's attorney's. He is going to keep fighting because this issue is not going to go away until he produces his records. I am also not buying his selective service records which is another controversy

Well here is what i have been able to find out about "no standing". To preface this, I am NOT a lawyer, but I have read many opinions on this. From what I've found "no standing" refers to whether or not someone has received some sort of "damage" from the inauguration or the election in general. "Damage" could be interpreted many ways......ie Monetary, emotional, etc. Because nobody has made a claim that addresses this, is the very reason no case has been heard.

As far as "standing" is concerned, I'm not a lawyer either, but FWIW I'll give you my take on it.
If someone saw a bank being robbed and tried to get justice by filing a civil suit against the bank robber, it would probably be dismissed for lack of standing. It's not that the bank wasn't robbed, but rather that in criminal matters "we the people" are represented by the criminal justice system.
I see this as analogous. If Obama has done the things he is accused of, they are serious crimes, and should be addressed by criminal prosecution, state or federal as appropriate. I for one am not surprised that civil suits are being seen as inappropriate by the judges who have looked at them.

Second, he continued in that vein while a Senator from Illinois (ACORN's senator)while we (US taxpayers) were busy racking up hundreds of thousands if not millions of bad government backed loans to minorities that led to the eventual financial meltdown and the destruction of the planetary economy. Third, back in 2001, 2003 and 2004, George W, Alan Greenspan and John McCain all warned about the danger of letting entities like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac continue with their dangerous and unregulated irresponsible lending to people who couldn't service their loans (mostly minorities). Even going so far as to say that it would not only be devastating to the financial markets but to the general economy. So don't lay this on the right wingers' doorstep. We desperately need subsequent rigorous reporting the facts as they lay out. Could you cite the $800,000 please. The Politico story said the Calif. attorney worked pro-bono. Many of the suits are agains State electors, and the State's Attorney are handling. Did you just pull that number from your butt?
He provided a legal document. And, per the Constitution, it should be accepted. If Hawaii accepts it, it should be accepted in any state. Per the Constitution. Look it up.
The only program Hawaii prefers a long form certificate for is their Home Lands Program. You must show Native Hawaiian Ancestry. Obama never claimed that.
Did you follow the Hollister case at all? If you did, you would know that the judge ordered berg to schedule a pro hac vice hearing to show his competance, his credentials, and that he had a legal basis for his case. He wouldn't do it. He didn't schedule the hearing. Why might that be? Perhaps because he had no case.
Look into it.
And, under the circumstances, I hope the judge hands down painful sanctions.
