Terror Cell: It’s just a matter of time
One day after the slaughter of 3,000 people in September 2001, I received a (unsubstantiated or confirmed) report via e-mail, from a close friend in Arizona. The message stated that Mexican “coyotes” were approached by a group of non-Hispanic, dark skinned individuals that wanted to cross the border into America. The “coyotes” charge about $10,000 per persons to bring illegal’s across the border, and it also includes transportation to a safe house, and later a ride to another city in New Mexico where a bus tickets awaits them. This particular group was willing to pay $50,000 per person, a hefty sum considering that the group consisted of twelve men.
The ‘coyotes” refused to bring these people across the border-stating that “They were bad people”, and it was suggested to me that the group was carrying a lot of military gear, including weapons and explosives.
I usually discount such stories, chalking them off as benign fantasies-but in retrospect I have to admit that it pricked my own curiosities-enough that I started making phone calls to other friends of mine that live in that particular area.
Robles Junction, Arizona: A small nondescript crossroad between Tucson and the Mexican border, as well as the eastern most boundary of the Tohono-O’ Odham Native reservation in Sells, Arizona. It consists of a Post office, hardware store, café, and general store that also sells gasoline. A few thousand people live out in the desert around the area. It is also an area known for smugglers, drug runners, and illegal’s entering through the Sonora desert.
My friends, one of whom works at “Three Points” store told me that at night, the store is flooded by military “type” people that come out of the desert-buying bottled water, food, smokes, and other items-then disappear back into the night. The thing that got their attention is the fact that the uniforms worn by these soldiers were not of the “woodland or desert” variety worn by American or Mexican troops in those days. They also didn’t speak Spanish well enough to pass scrutiny by other Hispanics.
Another friend told me that he saw uniformed troops practicing maneuvers and live fire training out in the desert. He told me that it was common to hear full-auto weapon’s, small explosions, and smoke emanating from way back in the desert.
I know that the US Border patrol has a very active presence in that area these days-but back in 2001 the efforts were greatly reduced due to internal problems within the Border Patrol itself, and the fact that the areas is humongous, deathly hot, and stretches for fifty miles south towards the Mexican border, called “Gringo pass”.
In 2002 I read another report that Border patrol officers were taken under fire inside the United States by eight uniformed soldiers brandishing jeep mounted squad automatic weapons. The Border patrol was attacked and chased by these “soldiers” one mile into sovereign territory, until the jeeps made a bee-line back into Mexico.
A few days later the Immigration Services reported that they had “lost track of 5,000 mid-eastern immigrants” and were looking for them post haste. (Surprised? Here )
What is really disturbing is that Border Patrol agents are so hamstrung by the politically correct crowd, that Islamist terrorist could easily penetrate America’s southern borders. Even more so today considering the asymmetrical war raging along the US-Mexico borders fueld by various drug cartels.
“If anyone runs from us, we don’t chase them”, said one California border patrol agent who requested anonymity “We could have information that there is a nuke in back of a van but we don’t have authority to chase them”, the Agent said. “We’ve had radiation pagers go off and we’re still not allowed [by our supervisors] to give chase”, he said.
“They are scared to death something will go wrong”

I lived in that area for almost two years, and was amazed at the sheer immensity of the area. Hundreds of miles of desert, horizon to horizon mountains, and very little human habitation of the area leading into Mexico. One could literally “get lost’ out there, and it happens a lot judging by the number of ‘reported’ deaths by the Border Patrol.
While riding [On horseback] through a particularly area devoid of people, I once happened across a trio of camouflaged and armed “smugglers”. Two were carrying backpacks, and one was armed with a AK-47 assault rifle. They failed to see me, and luckily I was similarly armed. My immediate thought was that the situation could have turned deadly, had they spotted me first. Several hours and twenty two miles later I was able to report the incident to Border patrol agents, and they promptly took off in search of these guys.
In the years since I moved out of the area, my friends tell me that crime is at an all time high. Theft, vandalism, robberies, and shootings are common place-something one would expect in the city. The trend continues even today.
Zanesville, Ohio-2001:
A few days before the 9-1-1 attacks, I was fueling my pickup truck at a discount gas station east of Columbus, Ohio.
A stranger walked up to me inquiring how to get to St. Louis, Missouri. He was definitely of mid-eastern descent, and asked me how to get back to St. Louis. He told me that he’d driven from Boston. (In case you forgot- some of the hijackers boarded planes in St. Louis and Boston)
What was disturbing is the fact the rental car that he was driving had Missouri license plates, and a sticker indicated that the car was rented from a St. Louis rental agency.
[ I reported that incident to the FBI, and they finally replied in December 2001 ]
Was this individual part of a terrorist cell, or maybe a ‘support apparatus”? Perhaps so, considering that I have never seen his picture or face in any headlines since those terrible days.
What’s unsettling is the increasing number of terrorist plots that we have witnessed in the past two years. Islamists plots are turning up almost every month-the perpetrators originating from Islamic countries, and most of them having obtained legal status in the United States.
[ Here] In another article I have outlined radical Islamic Inman’s that openly advocate the complete and systematic destruction of the United States. These [so called clergy and scholars] travel a circuit across the our country calling for Jihad, praising suicide bombers, and inciting Muslims to rise against “The Great Satan America” to establish Sharia Law inside of our borders.
In a profound video [ Here] it shows two hooded terrorists promoting violence against both Israel and America. They praise another terrorist that “knifed” several innocent victims to death, and then threw propane tanks into a burning fire. The question is; “How were these scumbags able to get inside of the USA without being caught?
Perhaps the well documented verity of Islamic “training camps” within America could shed some light on this. [ Here ] The construction of several Muslim conclaves where non-muslims are not allowed. Camps where military training is being conducted, and armed guards patrol the perimeters. Yet, there have been no public inquiries or investigations of these armed camps.
Another equally disturbing fact is the Government’s superficial attempts in locating immigrants that have overstayed their visas, and their inherently incompetence in securing our southern borders. The question remains; why the entire scope and power of the Homeland Security/Border Patrol agencies cannot stop hundreds ( at a time) of Mexicans from sneaking into America-how could they prevent a lone terrorist from sneaking across the border with a chemical or biological weapon.
Will it take another heinous terrorist attack that slaughters another 3,000 innocent victims-to get the people charged with protecting America off their [collective] butts-and actually start seeing these Islamic infiltrators as comprising the most deadly threat against America.
It’s time to stop the political kowtowing so prevalent in the Nations’ capitol, and get down to the business of protecting America at the street level. It starts with closing the borders, insuring that immigrants are identified and tracked, and those immigrants that “overstay” their visa should be systematically hunted down as potential terrorist.
Our “tolerance” and “political correctness” has cost America a severe price-ask any of the families of the 3,000 victims that were slaughtered” in 2001, or the 4,000(+) deaths that America’s sons and daughters have endured. The answer lays therein, and there can no longer be any denial of these fact by the Administration.

First the latter part of your story:Former DHS Sect. Michael Chertoff was asked about the border incursions by the Mexican army (over 500 incursions at the time he was asked)and he said that he was aware of them and that "no one should worry" (which was exactly when you need to worry when you are told not to). These border incursions were escorts by their Army for Mexican Drug cartels. He wasn't worried because he lived in DC. and it was neither a Priority for him or Bush. If you recall Bush and Vicente Fox were close amigo's and Bush wanted as much cheap labor from Mexico as he could get at the time so he NEVER gave Fox a hard time about his Army escorting drug cartels into the US.
Now to the first part of your story. There were rumors (fear mongering)that terrorists did try to get the coyotes to bring them into the US, but that was never verified by DHS or any other agency such as the US Border patrol, and your truck load of 5000 terrorists is a truck load of a different substance
