Religion of Peace!
The sooner mankind consigns religion to the garbage heap of history, the better. As long as any man believes his superstitions are the word of some invisible creator, he is going to overtly or secretly wish the demise of all others who hold different (or no) religious beliefs. The Islamic world feels humiliated and backed into a corner by a succession of crusades, colonization and wars waged by the West. I mean, how would we react if they attacked us? Wait, 9/11 -- we invaded two countries. The madness has to stop.
The Hajj is meant to be a spiritual journey and a personal pilgrimage. It is a shame the some Iranians have tried to hijack this beautiful commemoration of the sacrifices of Abraham and manipulate it for their own political ends. This is not just a protest against the United States, it is also a rebuke to America's Muslim allies. They are chanting Anti-americanism almost religiously here!

This is nothing but pure Iranian propoganda. The images are not even from Saudi Arabia or from the pilgrimage. If anything, it's video of some sort of rally in Iran prior to the departure of the pilgrims for the pilgrimage. The transitions to the "Mount of Mercy" (where there's a hill and a white pillar) is clearly fake, as the foreground seems to be swelling. Plus this type of speech cannot be made anywhere in Mecca, in the pilgrimage grounds of Mena, or in the plain of Arafat. It's not only not possible, but illegal. Political demonstrations during the Hajj are prohibited. The white tents seen in the demonstration appear to be made to look like those in Mena, but they're not (particularly to those who've been there).
So don't give it too much credence. It's fake, and meant only to inflame people like ourselves and rally Iranians who drink the kool-aid.

In 1980 in reaction to the Iran situation with our hostages I asked my mother to get me a Koran when she asked what I wanted for my B-day. She got me a Koran and Hadith written in Arabic with English on the opposite page. Both were translated in Pakistan. I then studied them with other materials for many years.
I tend to be wordy....so just let me say that this religion is in no way Peaceful. I won't go into surahs and interpretations of Hadith here. But "The worlds most peaceful religion" is a sick joke perpetrated upon the west by our press.
I think it was a mistype...but islam was founded around 650 AD and by 500BC Judiasm was well established although it did ubdergo continual changes. An incept date for Judaiism would be around 1.900 BC for its' earliest stages. SO! islam was spawned 650 years AFTER CHRIST and about 2,500years after Abraham.
