The homosexual agenda to re-educate your children and remove the bigotry we parents have placed into their innocent minds is “out of the closet.” President Obama’s appointment of gay activist Kevin Jennings to a senior post in the Dept. of Education a few weeks ago was one of a number of recent events which reveal a more aggressive move to push homosexual issues into the minds of young children. Here are a few current initiatives underway this summer:
· The Alameda Board of Education passed by a 3-2 vote a supplemental curriculum which seeks to eradicate “homophobia” from students barely old enough to write their names. At the center of controversy is Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgendered (LGBT) Lesson 9 which will be taught as part of an anti-bullying lesson to kindergarten through fifth grade students focuses on sexual orientation and gender identity. Upon reading the contents of the curriculum the first grade outline included the required text “Who is a Family?” by Robert Skutch. Many of you have probably have not seen this text but it is easily found on line and was the subject of several blogs when it surfaced in a kindergarten in a Massachusetts town in 2005 (see below). As reported by Mass Resistance, the author said of his book in a May 3, 2005 National Public Radio Interview:
“The whole purpose of the book was to get the subject (of same-sex parent households) out into the minds and awareness of children before they are old enough to have been convinced that there’s another way of looking at life.”
In a memo defending the curriculum the District stated, “homophobia is still very much present in many of our schools and communities” insisting “students of all ages must be given an opportunity to learn that the words ‘gay’ and ‘lesbian’ are adjectives that should be used with respect to describe people in their community, not words used in a negative way….” The District further claimed that “using anti-gay slurs starts as early as kindergarten,” and therefore all students must be drilled with positive portrayals of gays, lesbians and transgender people. As a result of the 3-2 decision, students will not be allowed to voluntarily miss the lesson.
· In another “unrelated incident” in California, PJI is taking up a lawsuit filed on behalf of parents opposed to the Castro Valley Unified School District after they refused to comply with a public records request. Apparently the school tried to oppose parents looking for more information about a lesbian minister who had been invited by school representatives to speak to math and science classes at Castro Valley High School. According to students, the minister spoke about her lesbian wedding and similar events under the heading “Out for Good.”
· In Washington, a bill was introduced on May 5, 2009 about the same time as the aforementioned events were breaking onto the public scene. The Safe Schools Improvement Act, H. R. 2262 was introduced by Rep Linda T. Sanchez a democrat from (yes) California. H.R. 2262 if passed would amend the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act to include “bullying” and harassment prevention programs. Specifically this bill will approve grants to create (K-12) education materials that would prevent student-on-student violence “actual or perceived” provoked by differences in race, color, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity (?) or (yes) religion; and “any other distinguishing characteristics that may be defined by a State or local educational agency…”
“Isolated incidents” like these are not new. For example, David Parker , a Massachusetts father was arrested in April 2005 for trespassing, after his five year old son was provided with a “diversity” reading bag, (including the “Who is a Family?” text) without Parker’s knowledge. The list goes on and there are many good websites that describe what has been going on in America for at least twenty years as homosexuals come out of the closet and into our schools in pursuit of the next generation.
Despite the disagreement by many who believe the Mr. Jennings is being slandered in the conservative blogosphere, there is a preponderance of activity amongst the Liberal politicians and gay interest groups across the country to reveal a concerted effort to push a gay rights agenda, There is in fact national push in all fifty states to promote the acceptance of the homosexual and transgender lifestyle and we as parents and grand parents must be aware of what is being foisted onto the next generation deliberately and with the full knowledge and acceptance of our elected officials at all levels of government.
Remember Robert Skutch’s “un-minced words,” “the whole purpose of (‘Who is a Family?’) was to get the subject (of same-sex parent households) out into the minds and awareness of children before they are old enough to have been convinced that there’s another way of looking at life.” His words are clear, the homosexual activists are out of the closet and they are looking to convince OUR CHILDREN that the Christian worldview and values we teach them is bigoted and wrong.
Parents, we must pray without ceasing for our children. We must raise our own awareness to what the public school system is telling our children about homosexual and transgender subjects even in kindergarten! If we are financially able, we should put our children in private schools or teach them ourselves at home. Our attendance at PTA and school board meetings must be active and vocal. We must demand from our teachers their curricula and book lists for review. Research the authors and read the text books. Finally, we must vote out of office at all levels any politician involved in supporting any portion of the gay rights agenda.
We are paying for public “education” and allowing our precious children to be in its care for most of their childhood. We can no longer ignore how gay political interest groups are stealing the values we pass to our children in order to further their deviant lifestyle. It is our responsibility (not the “village’s”) to raise our children and teach them the way in which they should go so that when they are adults they will be grounded in right and wrong. (Proverbs 22:6) We are in a war to save the next generation and our families!

As a gay Christian, I am completely ashamed at your bigotry. As a child, I was bullied, beat up, threatened, teased, shunned, targeted, etc. by children just like yours. I was alone and suicidal because everyone knew something was different about me. I'm 39 now. It all makes sense once I figured out my true natural desires were for men, not women.
I'll share this as a 6'2", white man who grew up as a Baptist. The BIGGEST blessing to me wasn't the day I found Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. The BIGGEST blessing to me was the day that Jesus Christ revealed to myself that I indeed was designed as a gay man.

As a person who's spent a life time in the conservative Christian worldview, I think many who hold that view are unwilling to concede that we now live in a post-Christian culture. whatever may or may not have been true 50 years ago about preserving the morals of society in such a way as that they reflected Christian teachings, that era has closed.
Christians today, if they are to be of real service to their children, need to teach them about the society which IS, not the one they WISH it to be (and which it will not be again in their lifetime)
I'm not saying to give up and not communicate your values...but teach them how to apply those values in a world where people you do not approve of DO exist and WILL be more and more a presence in their lives. Teach your kids how to love people in spite of the things they disapprove of instead of how to "fight" them. You will better reflect Christ that way.

The title of your "article" sounds like you are alluding to a perception that gay people are pedophiles--funny, it is a known fact that most pedophiles are straight males. That is who molested me as a kid--3 different straight males from ages 35 to 75.
Another funny thing, the incest group I was in had 20 women who were struggling with what straight males had done to them. Out of those 20 women, 15 of them were molested by men who were either respected members of the local churches or ministers!

The verses you claim are against homosexuality in the NT are about men having sex with men as part of a pagan worship, and therefore are about false gods - not homosexuality (BTW, so are the OT passages). The Bible was not written yesterday or in English; you must understand both the original language and the culture in order to properly understand its teachings. Oh, it would help if you would actually read it too (Rom 12:2). God is Love and Love is for everyone. Jesus says the second most important commandment is "Love your neighbor as yourself." I really have to object to your use of the phrase "OUR CHILDREN," because frankly, YOUR children aren't the ONLY children attending OUR public schools. The simple fact is that gay people exist. There are gay kids growing up in our schools, as well as kids who have one or more gay parents. And, those kids have a right not to be marginalized in an environment that is constitutionally required to provide them with the Equal Protection of our laws. And since all public school curricula are governed by the legislation which mandates the existence of those schools, that includes treating gay and lesbian students and parents as CITIZENS first, and foremost.

God does not tell us to hate homosexuals. Rather he tells us to flee from sexual immorality and to teach your children what the bible says about sexual immorality. Evry one who believes my post says otherwise is wrong. I am merely saying here that homosexual sex is offensive to God and he told his people not to engage in such practices. I think hiding behind the title of Christian lets you feel entitled to say whatever you want in the name of Jesus Christ. I am sure that the Jesus that I have grown up to know - the Jesus who preaches love and tolerance - would prefer to have you preaching in someone else's name.

I think you hate in others what you see in yourself. To say you are justified in preaching hatred and intolerance shows that you do not truly understand Jesus' teachings. You need to turn your insights and visions inward and work on fixing the obvious flaws that cause you to place blame on other people and feel justified in doing so.
I am sure if you would continue to read my other pieces you will find that yes I have committed two of the three sins you mentioned above and am still paying the penalty for my choices. That said, I am sure that you agree with me that the sin of homosexuality is on par with adultery and in fact any sin. Can I also assume that if you believe my adulterous behavior is wrong in God's eyes that would agree that homosexuality is also wrong in his eyes. I hope too that you would agree that Jesus came to provide remission for those sins. Since I have confessed them to the Lord and by the blood of Jesus I am forgiven. I have repented and therefore there is no more condemnation for those sins. I would be a hypocrite however, if I were to continue in the adultery and claim to follow Christ. I am merely giving the sin of homosexuality the same treatment that you and Jesus are in my article.
I do not claim to be without sin sir, that is why I need Jesus Christ. However, I cannot condone homosexuality because it is sin. All I can do is love the sinner and help he or she understand that we all fall short of God's glory and need a Savior. I am holding myself equally to the same standard as we all should that is Jesus Christ.
