People lined up around the block at 1600 Glenarm Place Thursday night for Downtown Denver's new Pinkberry. The new shop brings froyo to the heart of Downtown.
Justin Bieber was not spotted among the crowd, but staff from the Downtown Denver Partnership, Denver's glitterati and a few hipsters were among the revelers. Staff passed samples along the line that wrapped around 16th and Glenarm.
A topping bar supplied every fruit imaginable! Pinkberry prides itself in serving fresh fruit that is cut daily- that's right nothing canned, frozen or leftover. In addition to frozen yogurt and toppings, Pinkberry also offers Pinknberry Fruit Parfaits and Pinkberry Smoothies.
Co-Owners Jeff Adams and Wes Becker, who went to 19 days of Pinkberry training, love the stuff so much they are looking to open two more shops in the Denver and Boulder area. Wes said that one of the reasons he decided to invest in Pinkberry is that Howard Schulz, CEO of Starbucks, is a major investor.
Social Media Ready Pinkberry has a partnership with Foursquare for special offers, so keep an eye out. Pinkberry is also on Facebook and Twitter. And to make life easier, you can order online too. Are you a fan? (AKA Groupie) then set up an account in Pinkberry's online community. Groupies create profiles, connect with others, get special offers and share photos and video. Share the Pink Love!
