Placing blame on "...one of the most challenging summer concert seasons...", Lilith Fair co-founder Terry McBride today announced the cancellation of ten shows from the upcoming schedule. Among the cancellations were both planned stops in Florida; West Palm Beach and Tampa. Paired with the cancellation of shows in Birmingham, Raleigh, Charlotte and Atlanta, fans around the southeast seem to have been out of the mix. At this point, the closest that Lilith Fair will come to the southeast is Washington, D.C.
