One way to have a good time in the Central Arkansas area on any given weekend is to check out where Tragikly White is playing. Tragically White is Little Rock’s greatest cover band. One reason is their eclectic range of bands they cover. At their January 21st, 2012 stop at the Rev Room, they covered Lil Jon, The Steve Miller Band, AC-DC, Neil Diamond, and Cee lo Green, just to name a few. They seem to be able to put a rockin’ touch to rap songs like Usher’s Yeah, 50 Cent’s In Da Club, and Kanye West’s Gold Digger.
Tragikly White consists of Rick Martin on vocals, Alan Hash on guitar, Jimmy Tomlinson on bass, and Gerry Smith on drums. The band has been voted as the best band in Arkansas by many local magazines and radio stations. They’ve been called Arkansas’ premiere dance band, and they definitely know how to keep a crowd dancing. Check out their website at tragiklywhite.info.
