It's sure to be an event chock full of blood, sweat, and tears as 10 hardcore bands hit The Majestic on August 12 for the 10 for $10 tour. The onslaught will feature Poison the Well, Bane, Crime in Stereo, Death Before Dishonor, Madball, Terror, The Ghost Inside, the Mongoloids, This is Hell, Trapped Under Ice, Vision, and War of Ages.
Presented by the indiemerchstore, the tour promises to be a night well spent with people yelling at you. With the low cost of admission, the 10 for $10 tour is the more affordable equivalent of Warped Tour. If you missed out on the punk laden festivities earlier this summer, here is your chance to redeem yourself and receive you daily recommended dose of energy.
Featuring some of the more well known acts in the hardcore subculture, the concert is reminiscent of the low key independent shows of ye olden times. In the midst of a floundering economy and a dilapidated Detroit music industry, the 10 for $10 tour is exactly what music lovers have been craving. Members of the hardcore scene have expressed the frustration of smaller crowds as a result of less disposable income. The tour offers listeners a chance to witness some of the most prolific acts in the genre and encourage kids to become part of the scene. Lesser known hardcore acts will also get a chance to appear in front of the masses and proceed to melt their faces.
You haven't paid less to get screamed at since your childhood. The lineup stands at 12 bands currently with the dropping off of Vision of Disorder for the Detroit installment. The show is general admission and tickets are - you guessed it - ten bucks.

Sounds like quite a bargain and a great time!
Good stuff, I also did an interview with Ryan from Poison the Well. Terror and Madball always brings a good show as well.
