After releasing Cursed and Blessed by longtime Cleveland indie rock heavyweights Duvalby Brothers in 2007, Aaron “Buzz” Boron has forged ahead with a new project Non Fiction. Their debut album Makebelieve is set to be released next month and is an eleven track emotional and spiritual platter with subjects ranging from adolescent memories (Hurricane Blues), inexplicable loss (Frozen Worlds), and struggle (Roll of Dimes). In addition to its heavy hearted themes and stripped down arrangements, there are high octane gems with bass driven distortion (Num: Like Van Gogh) and garage rock out jams (Post Traumatic Party Disorder:Rehab). Makebelieve is diverse as it is spectacular, truly original and a highly personal reflection of life in Cleveland, Ohio.
Completing the Non Fiction quartet are Pat Ginley (drums), Tim Long (guitar), and Sean Bilovecky (bass, keyboards). Makebelieve was produced by Sean Bilovecky and Jim Fellahean. Non Fiction will be playing at The Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, October 3rd for their cd release party . Makebelieve will be released on WholeAcoustic Records.
