John Kennedy graduated from Manhattan College, Riverdale, N.Y. with a B.S. in Finance. He worked for The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation on Wall Street as a Senior Billing Analyst. A Participant in the Air Force and Army R.O.T.C programs while in school, he edited the Air Force cadet publication: Wings of Silver.
