The Call of Duty series first debuted with Call of Duty back in 2003.  It was based on World War II scenarios and had great graphics for its time.  The first game was primarily single player but later versions added enhanced multiplayer scenarios.  Many may remember that Call of Duty was seen as a successor to the Medal of Honor series and was developed by many of the same developers.
