Lenovo's new line of products includes some stunning examples of consumer technology such as the new U1 IdeaPad Hybrid - a revolutionary cross between a laptop and a multi-touch tablet device.
Lenovo U1 IdeaPad revealed at CES 2010
Lenovo's new Hybrid U1 IdeaPad is a unique take on traditional touchscreen laptops. The 11.6" touchscreen display on the U1 IdeaPad actually detaches from the laptop and can be used on its own as a tablet.
When detached, the 11.6-inch multi-touch tablet is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon running a customized Linux interface also used in the new Lenovo Skylight. Used as in the traditional laptop mode, the U1 IdeaPad Hybrid is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo (U4100) processor using the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
The Lenovo U1 IdeaPad Hybrid is priced around $1000 and should be available in June.
