Canadian Pacific Holiday Train
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is on a mission to deliver of Holiday fun, music and family entertainment to cities along its route. When the train pulls into the station the boxcar opens and the entertainment begins. The train stays at the stop for about a half hour and moves onto the next city. Even if you cannot make it into the train station, it is worthwhile to find a spot along the railway route to watch the brightly lit train as it powers through the countryside.
Entertainers on the Holiday Train include Prescott and Adam Puddington, along with special guests Shaun Verreault and Willy Porter.
The CP Holiday Train collects donations for the local food banks at stops along the way. Donations of non-perishable food items and money donations go back into the local community. Canadian Pacific unites cities along the rail line in the spirit of joy, goodwill toward others and holiday giving.
The train is scheduled to be at Viking Middle School in Gurnee from 5:15 to 5:45 PM. All times are approximate, so plan to arrive early and find a good spot on the train platform to watch the festive show.

- Gurnee, Illinois: 5:15 to 5:45 PM at Viking Middle School Park, 4460 Old Grand Ave.
- Sturtevant, Wisconsin: 7:00 to 7:30 PM at the new Amtrak Depot at 9900 E. Exploration Ct.
- Hartland, Wisconsin: 9:30 to 10:00 PM
Sunday, December 6
- Portage, Wisconsin: 1:30 to 2:00 PM at the Amtrak Station
- Wisconsin Dells: 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Amtrak Depot
- Mauston, Wisconsin: 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM
- Sparta, Wisconsin: 7:00 to 7:30 PM
- La Crosse, Wisconsin: 9:15 to 9:45 PM Amtrak Station
