Orlando Fla. – The rainy season is here and it’s causing major commotions, (accidents that is). It seems like motorists have gotten so use to the dry grounds and rush rush traffic in Orlando Florida until they’re not taking precaution to the change of season.

Bill Gordon was struck this afternoon while riding on his motorcycle by a motorist who wanted to beat the red light. Gordon was headed north bound on Kirkman Road while the at-fault motorist traveled south bound. Gordon was waiting for the turn signal to change from red to green before proceeding, but little did he know danger was awaiting a few feet ahead.

Although the traffic light turned red signaling the at-fault motorist to stop, she proceeded, ignoring the warning, forcing Gordon and his motorcycle under her car. The mystery behind it all is; Gordon was able to escape the crash with minor injuries.

Due to the location of the accident within the busy intersection of Kirkman Rd. Gordon decided to leave the scene by walking to a nearby gas station. The motorist remained in her car crying hysterically saying “it was my fault.”

I was able to speak with a witness to the accident, Max Vincent Nuccio who says he wasn’t looking forward to Gordon walking away from the crash but is elated no one was seriously injured.

The rainy seasons can be messy. Examiner reporter’s encourages everyone to be on the lookout for others and to obey the laws of the land. While out on the roads, it’s better to drive for others even if it means giving up your right for someone else’s wrong.
