Over the past 7 years I've had the privilege of knowing, loving and caring for many of Boston's cats. While you can make generalizations about cats:
- they're aloof
- males are more affectionate than females
- they aren't as playful as dogs
I've found that each cat has his or her own personality. In my experience most male cats are affectionate, but then there's Mike. Mike is a beautiful gray and white persian mix who will sometimes let me catch him, pick him up, hug him and pet him. But most of the time he hides under his owner's bed. Female Cats are supposed to be aloof and independent and while I find that true of some, others are quite playful and willing to be hugged and kissed.
Its a rare cat that can't be tempted by a bit of string or other tease toy. Some cats have also been known to fetch balls tossed to the other side of the room. Generally older cats are less playful and more likely to want to sit by your side and be stroked on occassion, and that's just fine too. When you get to be 91 that's all you'll probably want as well.

Gorgeous cats! I love the expression on Sylvester's face. LOL
There are no recent posts - I hope you're still in business - Sounds like a really great cat-sitting service! If I ever need this service, I'll certainly call... although I live North of Boston so maybe too far....
Hmmm my last post was June 2, I consider that recent :-). Definitely still in business but just to be clear, Examiner and Hands of Time (my business) are not affiliated. I write for examiner as a freelance writer.
Thanks for the compliment.
