Devin DeMoure is a local historian with a passion for writing about how relevant history is to communities today. During undergraduate studies at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, he developed a fondness for local history. His writings gained energy as he began to understand the many ways in which research inspires relevant issues -- political, social, and recreational. For Devin, history is not only the way things were, but how things became what they are now.
