Through the GSA, President Bush has signed a 10 year lease in the Sherry Lane Place building in Dallas, Texas.
Presumably not oval, his new office will occupy 8,000 rentable square feet at an annual rate of $38.95 per square foot. The lease will begin in the summer of 2009 when the space is expected to be ready for occupancy.
According to its Web site, Sherry Lane Place is a 20-story high-rise office building in the Preston Center area of Dallas, Texas. Sherry Lane's interior lobby features earth tone travertine floors and walls, accented by beautiful wool rugs, sitting areas, and lavish art work. Sherry Lane Place is an Energy Star Rated building.
Until the Sherry Lane office is ready, the 43rd President has a short-term lease for 5,328 square feet at The Berkshire at Preston Center building in Dallas. This lease has an annual rate of $34.71 per square foot.

I hope that George Bush gets this e-mail as I want him to read it.
ON this day of the annuguration, I feel very sad that Bush had to go out in a way that he was not respected and he never was and I think that this is terrible for the Media to have done that to him. He has saved many American Lives during his Presidency and I think that he and Laurie were and will be the most repected people that were ever in the White house. I am a Canadian that followed him the last few years. I think the world of him and his Family. Barrack Obama hasn't showed his cards yet and as the saying goings,"The chickens always come home to roost. I wish nothing but the best for the former President and his Family.

This email is for George W. and Laura Bush. Thank you so much for all that you've done for our country as a whole over the past 8 years. I so appreciate you.
Warmest regards,
Debbie
Thank you for holding true to your beliefs. I believe that you made the best decisions for the American people. God Bless you and Mrs. Bush in your new ventures.
during his 8 years in office I repeatedly asked for an official photo. My wife has collection of all Presidents during her lifetime since Harry Truman. Mr. Bush never responded or sent her a phone after 6 attempts at contacting white house by email.fax and snail mail. Is there a way to get his photo now that he is out of office?
I was so excited about President Bush coming home, however, I am missing him. It's like he is further away. Miss President Bush.
