First official photos from Jonah Hex and The Losers

While Marvel is still lightyears ahead in terms of bringing their characters to the screen, DC and Warner Bros. deserve a round of applause for finally branching out and producing films of their wide range of properties. For so long fans had to wait years for the next DC-based film (which sometimes turned out to be Catwoman) while Marvel represented with 3 every summer.

But, after Batman Begins finally greased the wheels, the companies have rolled out adaptations of V for Vendetta, 300, Watchmen, and of course The Dark Knight, with so many more in various stages of development.

Today, we finally get our first official look at photos from two of those adaptations, Jonah Hex and The Losers.

Jonah Hex, DC's facially-scarred, Western anti-hero, is set to debut June 18th, 2010 and stars Josh Brolin as the titular character. Oh yeah... and what's her face... Megan Fox is in it to. But, we won't hold that against them.

And next up, two photos from The Losers, an adaptation of the Vertigo series about a rag-tag special forces team starring Watchmen's Jeffrey Dean Morgan and opening on April 9, 2010.
