Comic books have a been a passion of Catherine's for as long as she can remember. As a child, her heroes were always of the spandexed variety, and as an adult they continue to delight and fascinate her. Comic books can showcase the very worst of humanity, the cruelty, the violence and the hatred. But comic books can also bring to the fore the very best of us, the humor, the bravery and the loyalty. That is why comic books continue to endure, because in the myriad of characters that comic books have brought to life, we see reflections of who we are, and sometimes, who we wish to be.
