Surely you've heard or starting reading Siege by now, yes? Avengers young and old are assembling under the command of, newly-reborn, Steve Rogers to save their fellow Avenger Thor from the invading forces of Norman Osborn and his Dark Avengers. This is the story that we've been waiting to see for seven years. The story that will finally bring Iron Man, Captain America and Thor together in the Avengers again.
What everyone seems to be curious about is who will join them on the Avengers teams and what will become of the books after they are all cancelled in April. Well news has already been shared regarding Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis and John Romita Jr. Also, the line-up was teased for Secret Avengers by Ed Brubaker and Mike Deodato. With both of these series coming in May, many wondered if we would see a replacement for Avengers: The Initiative or New Avengers. Now we've been teased/confused by more images for two more Avengers titles!
Coming in June, New Avengers will be replaced by... wait for it... New Avengers! Picking up the mantle from previous New Avengers team Bendis and Stuart Immonen will be... Bendis and Immonen? Okay, so it's just being relaunched with a new #1 issue. The teaser images revealed that everyone in this book is also on another team. Luke Cage and Jewel were revealed to be New Avengers but Cage (and possibly Jewel) will be in Thunderbolts as well. Spider-man has been seen on the revealed cover to Avengers #1. Wolverine was there, as well, but he's on every Marvel team except Secret Warriors at this point. The final teaser was the real surprise, showing us that Thing from the Fantastic Four would be on the New Avenger line-up.
Also released in June, Avengers Academy will replace the cancelled Avengers: The Initiative. Christos Gage is returning to chronicle the Young Avengers up-and-coming heroes adventures and joining him on art duties is former Teen Titans artist, Mike McKone. In the teaser images released, 5 new (or in disguise) characters were shown to be joining the Academy. The sixth character, Reptil, was introduced not long ago in an Intiative special and is a regular character on the Super Hero Squad show on Cartoon Network.

Joining these Avengers titles will be a new ongoing, spinning out of last years New Avengers: The Reunion limited series. Jim McCann and David Lopez join forces again on Hawkeye & Mockingbird. McCann describes his working relationship with Lopez thusly:
David and I have developed a great relationship and trust each other so much," he says. "I'll write something in a script and I know that only he could pull it off the way I picture it. And then he'll turn around and take what I thought was just a side piece of the script and deliver genius.
