The concept of Just Fresh was born in Charlotte and brought to fruition with it's first Charlotte location in 1993. Justfresh.com now has many convenient Charlotte locations where you can get food fast that is not fast food.
The menu offers many soups, salads, and sandwiches; they even have a kid's menu for the little ones. Most impressive is the listing of dishes for vegetarians that can have meat added for the non-vegans. The Mandarin Salad, $6.59, contains mixed field greens, mandarin oranges, bean sprouts, toasted almonds, roasted red peppers, red onions, and Chinese noodles tossed with a sesame soy vinaigrette. For just a few dollars more, you can add a meat protein.
One item that doesn't offer the option of meat, is the delicious Bellissimo sandwich, $6.59 with one side, this sandwich begins with a whole wheat tortilla filled with roasted portabella mushrooms, fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers and tomatoes with pesto. Homemade sides to choose from: Vinegar Slaw, Cucumber Dill Pasta, Green Pea Salad, Fresh Fruit, or Lightly salted Kettle chips. For just $.99 more, you can have an extra side.
