7th annual iO West Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival

So, if you've navigated to this page (and I hate to break it to you, but you have) then chances are you would also be interested in the 7th Annual iO West Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival. It's a six day improv festival featuring some of the best improv teams and performers in Los Angeles. Although there are several sketch teams such as Cream and Kodiak Park, because apparently the folks at iO are big fat liars. All is forgiven though since most of the teams are pretty darn fun to watch.

Now, a lot of the mainstage shows feature well known performers like Drew Carey, Sarah Silverman and Matthew Lillard (for some reason), but they also feature price tags like $20 and $25, kind of pricey for these sort of shows. The good news, though, is that you can see some really great shows for as little as $5 featuring some lesser known but no less talented teams. The Josh and Tamra show, for instance, has some great puppet-based improv that is as creative and funny as most any show you'll see in LA regardless of the price tag.

The 7th Annual Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival runs from June 1st through the 6th, and tickets are available through TicketWeb.
