On April 14, the Boston Comedy Scene Examiner is hosting a no-holds-barred comedy celebration in honor of her upcoming birthday. In honor of the occasion, the BCSE has declared the American Cancer Society the official sponsor of her birthday and is helping them to create a world with more birthdays.
So what exactly does all this mean?
It means that you have the opportunity to not only see some of Boston's hottest comics, including Mike Koutrobis, Carolyn Plummer, Don Zollo, Jim Lauletta and Paul Nardizzi (and special guest spots), but you'll also be helping in the fight against cancer when you purchase tickets online.
Dick's Beantown Comedy Vault at Remington's is generously donating 50% of all advance ticket sales to the Relay For Life of Natick, which means you should hurry on over and get your tickets now. General donations are also available online for those who cannot attend, but still wish to help to save more lives and create a world with more birthdays.
You'll also have the opportunity to enter to win a four-pack of tickets to see Jon Lovitz live at The Wilbur Theatre on Friday, May 21. Raffle tickets are only $1 each, or 12 for $10.
So come on out and celebrate the Boston Comedy Scene Examiner's birthday by helping to support Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. For more information about the American Cancer Society's various programs and services, visit www.cancer.org.
