Let's go ahead and assume that you have a Facebook account. If so (remember, we agreed to assume), then you've probably seen your so-called friends playing the Facebook-based online games "Mafia Wars" and "Farmville". Now, thanks to internet comedy sensation Tobscus, there's a commercial to help attract new players to the internet's most unspeakably boring online game. We don't know anything about this Tobuscus character, but we were sent the link to one of his videos and felt compelled to share. After watching, check out the dude's other videos at this link; but first, take a look at the fake commercial this dude put together for "Mafia Wars":
Is it just me, or was that fake commercial better than anything that's aired on SNL this season? Also, while we're on the topic: can anyone explain why anyone would spend any amount of time playing those Facebook games? There's "Mafia Wars", but more of the Comedy Examiner's friends are playing that pirate game. They're always inviting me to "Scrub The Wench!" or "Batten the Hobos". It's weird, and people that play those games are weird. There, I said it.
