Justin has focused on news and sports writing since his time working for Cougar News, Columbus State's former student newspaper. Some of higlights of his time there include covering Columbus State's men's basketball run to the National Championship, the Virginia Tech tragedy and aftermath, the arming of Columbus State's police force, the 2006 general election as well as the 2008 Presidential primary and Eric Fingerhut's academic plan for Ohio colleges. Since 2008 he has continued writing as a writer for U.S. College Hockey Online focusing on Ohio State's men's hockey program. In 2009, Justin covered the PGA's Memorial Tournament for Columbus Wired.
