Player Ratings:
Matt Pickens (7) - Made several good saves. Distributed the ball well. There was nothing to be done on the goal.
Jordan Harvey (5) - Steady on the left side. Struggled to feed Clark, but didn't give up anything on defense.
Ugo Ihemelu (5) - His pace was key to helping the defense recover.
Cory Gibbs (5) - Played a solid game. The defense was more organized than it was against Chivas, but still had some shaky moments.
Kosuke Kimura (5) - Struggled to feed Peterson all night. Wasn't greatly tested on the right. Used his pace to make some good supporting plays on defense.
Colin Clark (6) - A marked man all night. Seldom had the ball with less than three defenders closing him down. Dribble into traffic a few times while looking to set up for a shot. Did well to feed Omar on the goal.
Nick LaBrocca (7) - Had the job of filling Pablo's shoes. Kept the ball moving all night long with smart passes to start and re-start the offense.
Mehdi Balouchy (6) - Served two good balls in the first half that the forwards wasted. Contributed a lot defensively, but seemed to drift as the game wore on.
Jacob Peterson (5) - Served a few good crosses in the first half, had difficulty finding shots, and was overly cautious on a few possessions. He struggled getting himself open to receive the ball.
Conor Casey (6) - Won every header within reach, but struggled to find his shot.
Omar Cummings (7) - Scored on a well taken strike. Ran hard all night.
Substitutes:
Terry Cooke (8) - Instant offense. Came in and scored on a swerving free kick. Found Clark in the buildup to Omar's goal. Served several dangerous balls that kept the Wizards defense busy. Man of the Match.
