Zach Nichols is a former American Collegiate Hockey Association player and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mesa State College in 2008. He became interested in hockey after the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup in 1996 and has been an avid hockey fan ever since.
